Vidaus reikalų ministerija, siekdama sustiprinti valstybinių institucijų ir nevyriausybinių organizacijų bendras pastangas kovoje su vaikų seksualiniu išnaudojimu, birželio 1 d. organizuoja tarptautinę nuotolinę konferenciją „Kaip apsaugoti vaikus nuo seksualinio išnaudojimo?“. Joje dalyvaus Europos vidaus reikalų komisarė Y. Johansson, Europos kibernetinių nusikaltimų centro vadovas E. Šileris, Interpolo generalinis sekretorius J. Stock, atsakingų institucijų ir organizacijų atstovai.
Konferencijoje bus pristatyta vaikų seksualinio išnaudojimo Lietuvoje situacijos apžvalga, ikiteisminių tyrimų dėl vaikų seksualinio išnaudojimo ypatumai, teismų praktika šioje srityje, aptarti švietimo ir prevencijos klausimai. Lietuvos ir užsienio ekspertai peržiūrės turimas priemones bei susitars dėl konkrečių atsakingų institucijų įsipareigojimų, siekiant efektyviau mažinti nuo seksualinių nusikaltimų nukentėjusių vaikų skaičių. Jie nuguls bendroje rezoliucijoje, kurią pasirašys Vidaus reikalų, Socialinės apsaugos ir darbo bei Švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministerijos.
„Lietuvoje per pastaruosius tris metus nuo įvairaus pobūdžio seksualinių nusikaltimų nukentėjo arti tūkstančio vaikų. Su šiuo augančiu skauduliu susiduria visa ES. Todėl teisėsauga, politikai ir NVO vienija pastangas vaikystei apginti. Nepaprastai svarbu koordinuoti veiksmus, pasitelkti naujausius įrankius ir bendromis pastangomis stiprinti prevenciją, tyrimą bei pagalbą nukentėjusiems vaikams“, – teigia vidaus reikalų ministrė Agnė Bilotaitė.
Didžiąją dalį – net 48 proc. seksualinio pobūdžio nusikaltimų, kurie padaromi vaikų atžvilgiu, sudaro disponavimas pornografinio turinio dalykais, kuriuose atvaizduojami vaikai. Pernai Lietuvos policiją iš JAV Nacionalinio dingusių ir išnaudojamų vaikų centro (NCMEC) pasiekė 4900 pranešimų apie internete Lietuvoje aptiktas seksualinio turinio vaizdo medžiagas, kuriose vaizduojami vaikai. Šiemet per 3 mėnesius jau turime 2200 tokių pranešimų.
