Nuo gegužės 8 d. uždaromas užsieniečių registracijos centras Alytuje. Praėjusių metų vasario 24 d. prasidėjus Rusijos karui prieš Ukrainą, Vidaus reikalų ministerijos iniciatyva skubiai įkurti 7 registracijos centrai, pirmasis iš jų – Alytuje.
„Visiškai sumažėjus nuo karo bėgančių Ukrainos piliečių srautui, priimtas sprendimas uždaryti paskutinį ukrainiečių registracijos centrą šalyje. Ukrainiečiai ir toliau laukiami Lietuvoje – čia jiems bus suteikta visa reikiama pagalba“, – teigia vidaus reikalų viceministras Arnoldas Abramavičius.
Nuo šiol į Lietuvą atvykę ukrainiečiai turėtų kreiptis tiesiai į bet kurį Migracijos departamento skyrių. Taip pat toliau veiks karštoji linija 1808. Čia telefonu teikiama ukrainiečiams aktuali informacija apie apgyvendinimą, socialinę ir sveikatos apsaugą, grįžimą namo ir kitus svarbius klausimus. Karštoji linija veikia kasdien nuo 8 iki 20 val. Operatoriai karo pabėgėlius konsultuoja ukrainiečių, anglų ir rusų kalbomis.
Į Lietuvą atvykusiems ukrainiečiams humanitarinė pagalba kiekvienoje savivaldybėje teikiama nevyriausybinių organizacijų – Lietuvos Carito, Lietuvos Raudonojo kryžiaus draugijos, Maisto banko ir Maltos ordino pagalbos tarnybos – centruose. Alytuje humanitarinę pagalbą bus galima gauti Ligoninės g. 3-19.
Policijos atstovų teigimu, dvi Alytaus registracijos centre dirbusios Ukrainos pilietės tęs darbą Alytaus m. savivaldybėje ir teiks pagalbą į Lietuvą atvykusiems savo tautiečiams. Iš viso policijoje dirba 7 Ukrainos piliečiai.
2022 m. vasario 25 d. Alytaus registracijos centras priėmė pirmuosius į Lietuvą atvykusius nuo karo bėgančius Ukrainos piliečius. Per visą laikotarpį į registracijos centrą kreipėsi 10 707 asmenys, čia laikinai gyveno 5722 ukrainiečiai. Registracijos centre buvo teikiamos registracijos, laikino apgyvendinimo, socialinės paslaugos bei konsultacijos įdarbinimo ir kitais klausimais. Čia dirbo 550 savanorių, pamainomis savanoriavo 4 101 žmonių.
Karo pabėgėlių iš Ukrainos registracija kurį laiką vyko keliuose šalies miestuose – Vilniuje, Kaune, Alytuje, Panevėžyje, Klaipėdoje, Marijampolėje ir Šiauliuose. Piko metu per parą Į Lietuvą atvykdavo daugiau nei 2 000 ukrainiečių. Elektroninių paslaugų sistemoje MIGRIS iš viso užregistruoti 76 578 (iš jų 26 152 vaikai iki 18 metų) Ukrainos piliečiai. Šiuo metu galiojančius leidimus gyventi laikinos apsaugos pagrindu turi 45 168 asmenys.
