Vidaus reikalų ministrė Agnė Bilotaitė, vadovaudamasi Pilietybės įstatymu ir atsižvelgdama į kompetentingų institucijų pateiktą informaciją, kreipėsi į Prezidentą Gitaną Nausėdą priimti sprendimą dėl išimties tvarka suteiktos Lietuvos Respublikos pilietybės Margaritai Drobiazko netekimo. Pagal Pilietybės įstatymą Prezidento diskrecija – priimti tokį sprendimą šiuo klausimu.
Migracijos departamentas, apibendrinęs visų atsakingų institucijų pateiktą informaciją, savo teikime VRM konstatuoja, kad Lietuvos Respublikos pilietė M. Drobiazko palaiko glaudžius profesinius ir asmeninius ryšius su T. Navka, kuri siejama su Rusijos Federacijos valdančiuoju režimu.
Iš viešai prieinamų Rusijos žiniasklaidos šaltinių matyti, kad M. Drobiazko bendradarbiauja su Rusijos Federacijos prezidento Vladimiro Putino spaudos sekretoriaus Dmitrijaus Peskovo žmona Tatiana Navka, dalyvauja jos organizuojamuose šokių ant ledo pasirodymuose ir, tikėtina, gauna už tai atlygį.
Renginiai, kuriuose dalyvauja M. Drobiazko, prisideda prie Rusijos, kaip didžios šalies, rengiančios išskirtinius pasaulyje renginius, įvaizdžio formavimo, tokiu būdu padeda plėtoti Rusijos Federacijos režimo naratyvą apie „Rusijos pasaulį“ ir stiprinti Rusijos Federacijos režimo galias.
Lietuvos Respublikos pilietė M. Drobiazko nepasmerkė ir nepaprieštaravo Rusijos Federacijos vykdomiems brutaliems kariniams veiksmams, kurie kenkia Ukrainos teritoriniam vientisumui, suverenitetui ir nepriklausomybei.
Rusijos Federacijos kariniai veiksmai kelia didelę grėsmę regiono valstybių, tarp jų ir Lietuvos Respublikos, kartu ir visos euroatlantinės bendrijos saugumui. Nepaisant to, M. Drobiazko ir toliau dalyvauja Rusijos Federacijos režimą palaikančiuose renginiuose.
Atsakingų valstybės institucijų nuomone, Lietuvos Respublikos pilietis turi būti lojalus Lietuvos valstybei.
Pažymėtina, kad M. Drobiazko, įgydama Lietuvos Respublikos pilietybę, pasižadėjo ir laikytis Lietuvos Respublikos įstatymų, gerbti valstybės nepriklausomybę ir jos teritorinį vientisumą, tačiau savo veiksmais nesilaiko duoto pasižadėjimo priesaikai ir, bendradarbiaudama su Lietuvos valstybei priešišku režimu, diskredituoja Lietuvos vardą.
Pagal Pilietybės įstatymą išimties tvarka suteikta LR pilietybė iš asmens gali būti atimta ne tik tada, kai jis savo veiksmais kelia grėsmę nacionalinio saugumo interesams, bet ir kai viešai reiškia palaikymą valstybei, keliančiai grėsmę Lietuvos ir (ar) kitų Europos Sąjungos valstybių narių ir (ar) jų sąjungininkų saugumo interesams.
Primename, kad pernai Prezidento dekretu ledo čiuožėjų pora M. Drobiazko ir P. Vanagas buvo išbraukti iš valstybės apdovanotųjų sąrašo, pažeminus apdovanotojo vardą.
