Šiandien Socialinės apsaugos ir darbo ministrė Monika Navickienė dalyvauja Šiaurės ir Baltijos šalių konferencijoje Vilniuje, kurioje kalbama apie pabėgėlių ir imigrantų integraciją.
„Pastaraisiais metais mūsų regionas susidūrė su dideliais iššūkiais. Nuo 2022 m. vasario Šiaurės ir Baltijos regionas dėl niokojančio Rusijos karo Ukrainoje susidūrė su dideliu karo pabėgėlių srautu. Ori jų integracija į mūsų visuomenę tapo pagrindiniu tikslu. Manau, kad šią misiją įvykdėme ir toliau vykdome labai sėkmingai – susitelkusios visuomenės dėka pasiūlėme namus, socialines paslaugas, galimybę dirbti ir užsidirbti, mokytis lietuvių kalbos. Šiais laikais turime įsisąmoninti, jog sėkmingos migracijos procesų niekada nepavyks užtikrinti be sėkmingai veikiančių integracijos algoritmų“, – projekto „For In“ baigiamojoje konferencijoje sakė ministrė M. Navickienė.
Pasak ministrės M. Navickienės, per pastaruosius dešimt metų Baltijos šalys nuolat tobulino integracijos politiką, rengdamos konkrečias nacionalinio lygmens programas ir veiksmų planus, tačiau tarp savivaldybių išlieka skirtumų, susijusių su pajėgumais, žiniomis ir turimomis priemonėmis.
Konferencijos metu pasidalinta Baltijos šalyse vykdomomis iniciatyvomis ir didele Šiaurės šalių patirtimi, kaip toliau stiprinti vietos valdžios institucijų, pilietinės visuomenės, pabėgėlių ir imigrantų bendruomenių bei kitų integracijos proceso dalyvių gebėjimus.
Viso „For In“ projekto metu gilintasi sudėtingą vietinio lygmens integraciją, bendradarbiauta su pilietinės visuomenės organizacijomis ir nevyriausybinėmis organizacijomis, lankytasi ten, kur teikiamos integracijos paslaugos: kvalifikacijos kėlimo centruose, kalbų mokyklose, bendruomenių namuose ir laikinose pabėgėlių gyvenamosiose vietose.
