Ketvirtadienis žemės ūkio ministrui Kaziui Starkevičiui buvo ypač gausus veiklos. Naujasis Žemės ūkio ministerijos vadovas ne tik dalyvavo posėdžiuose, bet ir lankėsi Utenos krašte, kur domėjosi problemine situacija ūkininko A. Kudrevičiaus pieno ūkyje, Utenos bibliotekoje susitiko su vietos žemdirbiais, taip pat užsuko į svečius pas bitininkų Skardžių šeimyną.
Biurokratinės kliūtys stabdo ūkio plėtrą
Ūkininkas Arūnas Kudrevičius Vaitkūnų kaime (Leliūnų sen.) ūkininkauja jau ne vieną dešimtmetį. Šiuo metu 200 melžiamų karvių turintis ūkininkas neslėpė nuo ministro nemažos šiuo metu jį slegiančios įtampos dėl stringančio pieno ūkio fermos projekto, įvertinto 1,5 mln. eurų. Nutaręs didinti pieninių karvių bandą ir statyti naują fermą, dar 2021 m. A. Kudrevičius pateikė Nacionalinei mokėjimo agentūrai vertinti investicinį projektą ir gavo pritarimą, tačiau iki šiol negauna fermos statybos leidimo iš statybos inspekcijos ir niekaip nespėja į agentūros nustatytus projekto vykdymo terminus. Pasak ūkininko, bėgant metams, projektas jau pabrango 400 tūkst. eurų.
„Numačiau, kad statybos vyks milžiniškais tempais, iš Olandijos buvo atvežti ir 25 sunkvežimiai fermai reikalingų specialių grindų grotų, kurios turėtų svariai prisidėti prie ŠESD mažinimo. Dabar, kaip matot, viskas guli čia. Planų daug, bet niekur negaliu judėti“, – aprodydamas valdas neslėpė nusivylimo ūkininkas. Jo teigimu, dėl biurokratinių kliūčių ir slegiančių skolų ūkiui yra kilusi reali bankroto grėsmė.
Nors senoji ferma padidėjusiai karvių bandai nebegali užtikrinti komfortiškų sąlygų, sunku ir ūkio darbuotojams, tačiau ūkiui vis tiek pavyksta užtikrinti aukščiausios kokybės 4,23-4,4 proc. riebumo pieno gamybą.
Spręs susikaupusias sistemines problemas

Į susirinkusiųjų abejonę, ar tikrai įmanoma per tokį trumpą laiką panaikinti juos ypač varginančius perteklinius reikalavimus, ministras atsakė trumpai ir užtikrintai: „Spėsim!“

Utenos krašto ūkininkų Gražinos ir Gedimino Skardžių specializuotas bitininkystės ūkis – vienas didžiausių ir moderniausių Lietuvoje. Per metus jame vidutiniškai pagaminama apie 100 tonų aukščiausios kokybės medaus ir kitų bičių produktų. Ūkio produkcija parduodama ne tik didžiuosiuose prekybos tinkluose Lietuvoje, bet ir užsienyje. Į užsienį iškeliauja ir ūkyje iškulta bičių duonelė.
Kaip pasakojo ministrui ekskursiją po išpuoselėtą ūkį surengusi šeimininkė Gražina, jiedu su vyru bitininkavo nuo mažų dienų ir kūrė svajonę turėti savo bityną. Pradėjo darbuotis turėdami 5 avilius, dabar turi jau 2000 bičių šeimų ir sustoti nežada. Tėvų meilę bitėms ir darbo patirtį perėmė sūnus Edgaras, kuris drauge su žmona bei vaikais bitininkauja savarankiškai.
Kalbėdamiesi su ministru bitininkai, kurie patys pluša nuo aušros iki sutemų, atkreipė dėmesį į tai, kad labai sunku surasti norinčių dirbti žmonių. Darbuotojų į bityną nevilioja net ir nemenkas atlyginimas.
Bitininkai ministrui papasakojo ir apie bendradarbiavimą su ūkininkais, kurie leidžia įrengti bitynus šalia jų laukų arba sodybvietėse, kur būna sėjami medingi augalai. Skardžių bitės renka medų iš pievų ir laukų Utenos, Anykščių, Rokiškio, Kupiškio rajonuose.
