Balandžio 14 dieną į Lietuvos Respublikos užsienio reikalų ministeriją buvo iškviestas Baltarusijos Respublikos ambasados Lietuvoje atstovas, kuriam įteikta griežta protesto nota dėl pasikartojančių Lietuvos valstybės sienos pažeidimo atvejų.
Nota įteikta dėl 2023 metų balandžio 12 dieną užfiksuoto Baltarusijos Respublikos pasienio tarnybos pareigūno padaryto Lietuvos Respublikos valstybės sienos pažeidimo Vilniaus pasienio rinktinės Švenčionių pasienio užkardos veikimo teritorijoje.
Notoje Lietuvos Respublikos užsienio reikalų ministerija griežtai pareikalavo Baltarusijos Respublikos kuo skubiau pateikti pasiaiškinimą dėl incidento ir imtis visų būtinų priemonių, kad ateityje tokie incidentai nepasikartotų.
