Suprasdama Ukrainos grūdų eksporto į trečiąsias šalis svarbą, Žemės ūkio ministerija kartu su Susisiekimo ministerija bei kitomis atsakingomis institucijomis artimiausiu metu pristatys projektą, skirtą ukrainietiškų javų tranzito per Lenkiją ir Lietuvą bei jų eksporto per Klaipėdos jūrų uostą įgyvendinimui.
Susitikime su Ukrainos ambasadoriumi Lietuvoje Petro Beshta žemės ūkio ministras Kęstutis Navickas patikino, kad Lietuvos institucijos aktyviai dirba siekdamos išspręsti ukrainietiškų grūdų tranzito klausimus, kad logistinė Lietuvos infrastruktūra būtų maksimaliai išnaudota.
Ukrainos ambasadorius Lietuvoje, dėkodamas už pagalbą ieškant bendrų sprendimų, paprašė paramos keliant Ukrainos žemės ūkio ir maisto produktų importo ir tranzito per Europos Sąjungos (ES) šalis klausimus europiniu lygmeniu.
Tikimasi, kad artimiausiu metu pavyks sutarti dėl tranzito sąlygų ir didesnė dalis ukrainietiškų javų bus eksportuota į trečiąsias šalis. Tai neturės jokios įtakos javų importui į Lietuvą, nes suteikiama tik infrastruktūra grūdams, skirtiems eksportuoti už ES ribų.
Ministras pabrėžė, kad žemės ūkio produktų importas iš Ukrainos Lietuvai yra svarbus, nes įsivežame didžiąją dalį kukurūzų ir kitų žaliavinių produktų, naudojamų pašarų pramonėje. Tačiau svarbu, kad eksportui į trečiąsias šalis skirti javai neliktų ES teritorijoje. Todėl svarbus atsakingas Ukrainos ir tranzito šalių institucijų bendradarbiavimas. Šiems klausimams, įgyvendinant ir vystant solidarumo koridorius, bus skiriamas išskirtinis dėmesys.
Iš Ukrainos importuojamų kviečių apimtys nėra reikšmingos, tik nedidelė dalis į ES rinką patenkančių kviečių kiekio pasiekia Lietuvą. Pavyzdžiui, 2022 m. kviečių iš Ukrainos į Lietuvą buvo importuota už 8 mln. eurų (4 proc. viso kviečių importo). Šių metų sausio-vasario mėnesiais kviečių importuota beveik 12300 tonų už beveik 3 mln. eurų – tik 8 proc. viso importuotų kviečių kiekio.
Didžiausią importo iš Ukrainos vertės dalį šių metų vasario mėnesį sudarė nealkoholiniai ir alkoholiniai gėrimai bei actas (26,7 proc.), javai (22,0 proc.) ir aliejinių kultūrų sėklos ir vaisiai (17,6 proc.).
Importuojami kukurūzai, itin reikalingi pašarams, siekė 25000 tonų, jų vertė – beveik 7 mln. eurų. Iš Ukrainos per 2023 m. pirmuosius du šių metų mėnesius importuoti kukurūzai sudarė 52,2 proc. visų importuotų kukurūzų kiekio ir 36,8 proc. vertės. Importuotos rapsų ir rapsukų sėklos iš Ukrainos sudarė 93,8 proc. viso šių sėklų importo kiekio ir 76,4 proc. vertės, t. y. 4,4 mln. eurų.
