Socialinės apsaugos ir darbo ministras Vytautas Šilinskas ir Ukrainos jaunimo ir sporto ministras Matvii Bidnyi pasirašė planą dėl bendradarbiavimo jaunimo politikos srityje. Taip Lietuva stiprina ir plečia ekspertinės paramos Ukrainai, žengiančiai svarbius žingsnius kelyje narystės Europos Sąjungoje (ES) link, teikimą. Plane numatytos veiklos bus vykdomos iki 2025 m. pabaigos.
Planas prisidės prie jaunimo gerovės didinimo ir stipresnių ryšių tarp Lietuvos ir Ukrainos. Kartu vykdomos bendros veiklos padės jauniems žmonėms stiprinti savo kompetencijas ir pasitikėjimą savimi.
„Esame su Ukraina iki pergalės. Rėmėme ir remiame ją visose srityse, dalindamiesi gerąja praktika ir stiprindami jos ryžtą žengti eurointegraciniu keliu“, – sako ministras V. Šilinskas.
Plane numatyta skatinti bendradarbiavimą jaunimo politikos klausimais, plėtoti bendras veiklas tautinės ir pilietinės tapatybės srityse. Įgyvendinant planą, bus keičiamasi gerąja patirtimi, tobulinamos su jaunimu dirbančių asmenų kompetencijos. Taip pat bus skatinamas tarptautinis jaunimo organizacijų bendradarbiavimas ir tarpusavio supratimas.
Ypatingas dėmesys bus skiriamas ir darbui su nedirbančiais, nesimokančiais ir mokymuose nedalyvaujančiais jaunuoliais (NEET jaunuoliais), psichologinei pagalbai, jaunimo ekonominiam įtraukimui bei pilietiniam ugdymui, kad jauni žmonės būtų geriau pasiruošę spręsti ateities iššūkius.
Tikimasi, kad planas sustiprins abiejų šalių su jaunimu dirbančių asmenų kompetencijas, paskatins perimti gerąją patirtį, prisidės prie jaunimo sąmoningumo didinimo ir aktyvesnio dalyvavimo visuomeninėje veikloje, geresnio Europos vertybių suvokimo.
