Europos Komisija (EK) iš Europos Sąjungos žemės ūkio rezervo Lietuvai skyrė išskirtinę finansinę paramą – 10,66 mln. eurų.
Pirmadienį Briuselyje buvo pritarta reglamento projektui dėl neatidėliotinos ES finansinės paramos žemės ūkio sektoriams, susidūrusiems su konkrečiomis gamintojų ekonominį gyvybingumą veikiančiomis problemomis.
Parama pasieks 22 valstybių narių ūkininkus, kuriuos neigiamai paveikė nepalankios oro sąlygos ar specifiniai sunkumai atskiruose sektoriuose. Lietuvai skirta 10,66 mln. Eur, Latvijai – 6,8 mln. Eur, Estijai – 1,72 mln. Eur. Skiriant lėšas buvo atsižvelgta ir į Lietuvos pateiktus argumentus dėl pieno sektoriaus patiriamų ekonominių sunkumų.
Žemės ūkio ministras Kęstutis Navickas ne sykį ragino ES žemės ūkio komisarą Janusz Wojciechowski skirti Lietuvai išskirtinę ES finansinę paramą.
„Daugkartinis kreipimasis į EK ir žemės ūkio komisarą davė vaisių ir Lietuvos ūkininkus pasieks daugiau kaip 10 mln. eurų pagalba. Šie metai ūkininkams buvo nelengvi, tad ši finansinė parama labai laukta“, – teigia žemės ūkio ministras.
Kiekviena šalis narė turi iki rugsėjo 30 d. informuoti Europos Komisiją, kuriuos ekonominių sunkumų patyrusius šalies sektorius ir ūkius parems bei kokiais kriterijais remiantis bus skiriama parama. Parama turi būti teikiama pagal objektyvius ir nediskriminuojančius kriterijus, kurie neiškreiptų rinkos bei konkurencijos.
ES parama turės būti išmokėta ne vėliau kaip iki 2024 m. sausio 31 d.
Reglamentas artimiausiu metu bus paskelbtas oficialiai.
Žemės ūkio ministerija parengs teisės aktų projektus, kurie bus derinami su socialiniais partneriais bei visuomene teisės aktuose nustatyta tvarka.
