Lietuvos mokslo taryba (LMT) skelbia valstybės finansuojamų doktorantūros vietų paskirstymo konkursą bei kviečia įstaigas ir organizacijas iki š. m. birželio 9 d. teikti siūlymus dėl doktorantūros temų.
Siekiant stiprinti tyrėjų kompetencijas ir gebėjimus vykdyti aukšto lygio mokslinius tyrimus ir į doktorantūrą pritraukti kuo daugiau kvalifikuotų specialistų, šių metų konkurse preliminariai numatoma finansuoti 70 doktorantūros vietų.
Kaip ir anksčiau, konkursas vyks dviem etapais. Jau sulaukus ministerijų, įmonių, įstaigų ir organizacijų paraiškų, antrajame etape bus kviečiamos dalyvauti mokslo ir studijų institucijos. Šiais metais, kitaip nei ankstesniais, nebus atliekamas doktorantūros temų vertinimas ir atranka.
Švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministerija pateikė rekomendacijas 15 iš 70-ies vietų skirti doktorantūrai, kuri būtų vykdoma kartu su įmonėmis, įstaigomis organizacijomis, vykdančiomis doktorantūros krypties aukšto lygio mokslinius tyrimus ir eksperimentinę plėtrą. O kitas vietas siūloma paskirstyti mokslo ir studijų institucijoms: humanitariniams mokslams – 5, socialiniams mokslams – 7, gamtos mokslams – 15, technologijos mokslams – 11, medicinos ir sveikatos mokslams – 12, žemės ūkio mokslams – 3, menams – 2. Šis paskirstymas gali būti siūlomas keisti LMT iniciatyva, įvertinus paraiškas doktorantūros vietoms užimti.
Tikimasi, jog jaunieji mokslininkai sėkmingai integruosis į nacionalinę ir tarptautinę mokslo aplinką, išsiugdys darbo rinkai reikalingus įgūdžius bei gebėjimus, padėsiančius jiems dirbti tarpdalykinėse, tarpinstitucinėse ir tarptautinėse tyrėjų komandose.
Planuojama, kad galutiniai sprendimai dėl finansuojamų doktorantūros vietų bus priimti rugsėjo mėnesį.
2022 m. konkursui buvo gauti 79 doktorantūros temų pasiūlymai. Šiuos siūlymus teikė 2 ministerijos, 22 verslo įmonės, 5 ligoninės, 10 asociacijų ir draugijų, 1 urėdija, 1 administracinis teismas, 1 biblioteka ir kitos institucijos.
