Ketvirtadienį, rugpjūčio 24 d. Respublikinėje Panevėžio ligoninėje vyko NATO karių pratybos. Ligoninės kieme buvo pastatyta ir įrengta lauko ligoninė, iš kurios sužeistieji buvo transportuojami į ligoninės priimamąjį.
„Net ir NATO reikalavimai sveikatos sektoriui nustato, kad šio sektoriaus įstaigų parengtis ir prasideda nuo kritinių resursų funkcijoms vykdyti užtikrinimo. Planuojama skirti didesnį dėmesį reikalavimų užtikrinimui jose, kad kuo daugiau gydymo įstaigų galėtų įsitraukti į bendrus mokymus su Lietuvos kariuomene“, – sako sveikatos apsaugos ministras Arūnas Dulkys.
Mokymuose dalyvauja kariai iš Nyderlandų, Vokietijos, Čekijos ir kt. šalių.
NATO kariai modeliavo situaciją, kai skyriaus kontratakos sužeidžiami kariai. Pirmoji pagalba jiems teikiama vietoje, panaudojant kariuomenės turimus pagalbos ir gyvybės išsaugojimo išteklius. Suteikus pirmąją pagalbą, sužeisti kariai toliau transportuojami į ligoninės priėmimo skyrių.
NATO karių pratybas stebėjęs Respublikinės Panevėžio ligoninės direktoriaus pavaduotojas medicinai Mindaugas Vaitkus sakė, kad ligoninės darbuotojams tai labai svarbi patirtis, kada išbandoma kaip veiktų medicinos įstaiga ekstremalioje situacijoje.
„Simboliška, kad šiandien minint Ukrainos Nepriklausomybės dieną Respublikinėje Panevėžio ligoninėje vyksta NATO pratybos. Šiandien mums visiems yra labai svarbus saugumas, šiandien tą matome ir jaučiame iš labai arti. Karių pratybos – išbandymas ir mums, kada medikai turi priimti sužeistus karius, o jų realus darbas su pacientais ligoninėje nesustoja. Mums visiems iš tokių patirčių yra didelė nauda, galime pasižiūrėti kaip veikia visi procesai ir kaip mes sugebame perorientuoti darbus“, – kalbėjo M. Vaitkus.
Į Respublikinės Panevėžio ligoninės Skubiosios pagalbos skyrių buvo atvežti sužeisti kariai, kuriems buvo diagnozuoti įvairūs sužeidimai. Sužeistiesiems suteikta būtinoji pagalba, o labiausiai nukentėjusieji buvo nukreipti į operacines ir skyrius. Ligoninės medikų komandos dirbo greitai, darniai, jų veiksmai buvo koordinuoti, tikslūs ir savalaikiai.
