Šią savaitę baigti Lietuvos upių įžuvinimo ūsoriais darbai – į Nerį (Trakų r.) ir Šventąją (Anykščių r.) išleista 18 tūkst. šių retų žuvų metinukų (po 9 tūkst. į kiekvieną upę). Pastaruoju metu šių žuvų dalyje šalies upių yra sumažėję, todėl jų papildymas būtinas.
Žuvininkystės tarnybos prie Žemės ūkio ministerijos žuvivaisininkai jau keletą metų iš eilės stengiasi Lietuvos upėse atkurti ūsorių išteklius. Šios lepios žuvys dirbtiniu būdu veisiamos ir paauginamos Žuvininkystės tarnybos Žuvivaisos departamento Rytų regiono žuvivaisos skyriuje – Trakų Vokėje. Skyriuje taip pat auginama sėkmingai suformuota ūsorių reproduktorių banda.
Ūsorių dirbtinio veisimo darbų pradžia Žuvininkystės tarnybos specialistams nebuvo lengva. Anksčiau betoniniuose tvenkiniuose laikomų žuvų neršto laikas labai priklausė nuo lauko temperatūros sąlygų, kurių kontroliuoti neįmanoma. Todėl pavasarį, staigiai pakilus temperatūrai, ikrai perbręsdavo ir tapdavo nebetinkami žuvų veisimui. Ūsorius perkėlus į specialiąją uždarąją vandens apytakinę sistemą, problema buvo išspręsta. 2019 m. tarnybos specialistai sėkmingai atliko dirbtinį ūsorių veisimą, gavo pirmąsias gyvybingas ūsorių lervutes ir sėkmingai pradėjo įžuvinti šalies vandens telkinius.
2019 m. spalį 4 tūkst. ūsorių šiųmetukų pirmą kartą buvo išleisti į Neries upę. 2021 m. taip pat įžuvinti 4 tūkst. šių žuvų, tik jau paauginti iki metinukų stadijos. Pernai Lietuvos upės praturtintos 6 tūkst. ūsorių šiųmetukų. Šiais metais išleistų žuvų metinukų skaičius – tris kartus didesnis. Vidutinis įžuvintų ūsorių svoris – 5 g.
Apie ūsorių
Ūsorius (Barbus barbus) – karpinė, labai galinga, srovę mėgstanti ir dugne gyvenanti žuvis, kurią ištraukti iššūkis net ir patyrusiam žvejui. Tiesa, ūsoriai gyvena tik tam tikrose Lietuvos upėse – Nemune, Neryje, Šventojoje ir kituose švaraus vandens upeliuose. Latvijoje šios žuvys sutinkamos prie Lietuvos sienos, o Estijoje jos negyvena išvis.
Žuvies kūnas – pailgas, verpstės formos, aptakus, raumeningas. Šios žuvies akys – mažos, galva – didelė, žiotys – apatinės. Ūsoriaus šnipas – pailgas su 4 ilgais ūsais: 2 iš jų yra viršutinės lūpos galuose, kiti 2 – žiočių šonuose. Ūsoriai gyvena iki 15 metų, auga gana greitai. Dažniausiai sugaunamos 2–3 kilogramų, 40–60 cm žuvys, tačiau jos gali užaugti iki 90 cm ilgio ir iki 12 kg svorio.
Tiesa, žvejų svajonių žuvimi tituluojamus ūsorius saugo ir pati gamta – šių žuvų ikrai yra nuodingi, tad mėgautis jais nepatartina.
