Europos Sąjungos investicijų departamento Lietuvos-LENKIJOS INTERREG skyrius, susitikdamas su Vilniaus regiono plėtros taryba, pradeda Lietuvos ir Lenkijos INTERREG programos po 2027m. konsultacijas.
Lietuvos ir Lenkijos Alytaus, Kauno, Marijampolės, Tauragės ir Vilniaus regionų bei Lenkijos Balstogės, Luko, Suvalkų, Olštyno ir Lomžos subregionų vietinės savivaldos institucijos, vietinio valdymo grupės ir gyventojai rugsėjo ir spalio mėnesiais pakviesti dalyvauti būsimos INTERREG programos konsultacijose. Konsultacijų metu vyks susitikimai su Lietuvos-Lenkijos INTERREG programos regionų plėtros tarybomis, suinteresuotomis šalimis, vietinės veiklos, jaunimo ir kitomis grupėmis, pasitelkiant pristatymus, diskusijas, giluminius interviu, tikslinius anketavimus.
Šios konsultacijos yra puiki galimybė sužinoti abiejų šalių regionų bendrus poreikius ir pradėti rengtis būsimiems bendradarbiavimo per sieną INTERREG projektams. Regionų organizacijoms ir gyventojų grupėms suteikiama galimybė daryti tiesioginę įtaką programų kryptims ir sprendimams, planuoti finansavimo galimybes ir finansinį palaikymą bei ryšius su Lenkijos partneriais, dalinantis patirtimi ir geriausiomis praktikomis.
Šiuo metu sėkmingai vykdoma Lietuvos-Lenkijos bendradarbiavimo per sieną INTERREG 2021-2027m.programa, joje jau įgyvendinami 57 pirmojo ir antrojo kvietimo projektai bei 5 strateginiai projektai, kuriems skiriami 49,2 mln. eurų.
Bendradarbiavimo per sieną stiprinimas, pasitelkiant stiprias ir atsparias bendruomenes bei inovatyvias veiklas kartu sprendžiant vietines aplinkos kokybės gerinimo, fizinės, emocinės ir kultūrinės gerovės augimo– sveikatos apsaugos sistemos stiprinimo, turizmo vystymo, socialinės įtraukties didinimo, saugumo, pasienio vietinių verslų, organizacijų ir įmonių bendradarbiavimo srityse, problemas prisidės prie ilgalaikio tvaraus regionų vystymo abipus sienos.
