Socialinės apsaugos ir darbo ministro Vytauto Šilinsko komandoje viceministru pradės dirbti Domantas Katelė, šiuo metu einantis ministro patarėjo pareigas. Nuo 2023 m. spalio D. Katelė dirba ministro patarėju, atsakingu už jaunimo reikalus.
Viceministro pareigas D. Katelė pradės eiti po atsakingų institucijų patikrinimo ir kuruos nevyriausybinių organizacijų, jaunimo reikalus, darbo teisės, darbo aplinkos bei socialinio draudimo klausimus.
„Domantą Katelę vertinu kaip perspektyvų ir motyvuotą jauną žmogų, baigusį politikos mokslus ir įgijusį vadovavimo patirties nevyriausybinių organizacijų veikloje. Lietuvai svarbu auginti ir investuoti į jaunus žmones. Tikiu, jog sukaupta patirtis darbe su jaunimu ir šios veiklos išmanymas leis iki kadencijos pabaigos sustiprinti jaunuomenės ir nevyriausybinių organizacijų balsą“, – sako Vytautas Šilinskas, socialinės apsaugos ir darbo ministras.
D. Katelė Vilniaus universiteto Tarptautinių santykių ir politikos mokslų institute yra baigęs politikos mokslus. Nuo 2023 m. spalio – socialinės apsaugos ir darbo ministro patarėjas, iki tol buvo Lietuvos jaunimo organizacijų tarybos prezidentu, darbavosi portale lrt.lt.
