Vidaus reikalų ministrė Agnė Bilotaitė susitiko su kasmetinio projekto „Moksleiviai – į Vyriausybę“ dalyviais – Vilniaus rajono Nemenčinės gimnazijos atstove Agata Liachovič ir Marijampolės Rygiškių Jono gimnazijos vienuoliktoku Nojumui Savaikaičiu.
Projekto dalyviams ministrė pristatė Vidaus reikalų ministerijos veiklą ir svarbiausius darbus, susijusius su neteisėta migracija, sienos apsauga, valstybės tarnybos pertvarka, taip pat supažindino ir su Lietuvos Respublikos Vyriausybės darbu.
„Vidaus reikalų ministerija ir jai pavaldžios įstaigos yra atviros talentingam bei entuziazmo nestokojančiam jaunimui. Čia – darbas, nenuobodus ir kūrybiškas, kupinas iššūkių, asmeninio ir profesinio augimo galimybių“, – moksleiviams sakė vidaus reikalų ministrė.
Projekto metu moksleiviai planuoja aplankyti ir susipažinti su Policijos departamentu, Valstybės sienos apsaugos tarnyba, Priešgaisrinės apsaugos ir gelbėjimo departamentu. Trečiadienį moksleiviai tiesiogiai stebės Vyriausybės posėdį.
Projektas „Moksleiviai – į Vyriausybę“ rengiamas jau penkioliktus metus. Juo siekiama sudaryti sąlygas patiems geriausiems baigiamųjų klasių moksleiviams tiesiogiai susipažinti su Lietuvos Respublikos Vyriausybės ir jos institucijų veikla, skatinti jaunimą dalyvauti šalies valdymo procesuose, prisidėti prie pilietinės visuomenės formavimo. Jo metu kiekvienoje ministerijoje lankosi po du moksleivius, kurie visą savaitę turi galimybę iš arčiau susipažinti su pasirinktos ministerijos darbu, jos veiklos sritimis.
