Žemės ūkio viceministras Vytenis Tomkus dalyvavo antrajame Taivano – Lietuvos žemės ūkio darbo grupės susitikime. Nuotoliniu būdu jame dalyvavo ir Taivano žemės ūkio viceministrė Dr. Wen-Jane Tu. Pirmasis šios darbo grupės susitikimas vyko Taivane 2023 m. birželį.
Susitikime aptartas abipusio bendradarbiavimo potencialas ir galimybės: eksporto skatinimas, patekimas į rinką, ekologinis sertifikavimas, bendradarbiavimas žemės ūkio technologijų ir mokslo srityse bei kiti klausimai.
„Lietuva suinteresuota ilgalaikiu, stabiliu ekonominiu bendradarbiavimu su Taivanu, todėl siekiame sustiprinti ryšius su šia šalimi. Atsižvelgdami į mūsų eksportuotojų interesus ir poreikius, turime spręsti pažangą stabdančias problemas, taip pat labiau atliepti verslo bendradarbiavimo interesus bei lūkesčius. Mūsų verslo partnerystei reikia stipresnių įsipareigojimų ir dėmesio, kad būtų skatinamas ekonominio bendradarbiavimo patikimumas ir tvarumas, kuriamos sėkmės istorijos“, – kalbėjo viceministras.
Dvišaliai verslo ryšiai stiprinami ne tik įvairiomis verslo misijomis, bet ir tarptautinėse parodose. Žemės ūkio viceministras V. Tomkus pasiūlė kitąmet Taipėjaus tarptautinės maisto parodos metu surengti verslo forumą. Lietuvos žemės ūkio ir miškininkystės tyrimų centras (LAMMC) paragintas šį rudenį, spalio 17-19 dienomis, prisijungti prie Taiwan Innotech Expo, kur turėtų galimybę pristatyti naujausias Lietuvos technologijas ir sužinoti apie Taivano žemės ūkio inovacijas, taip palengvinant būsimą dvišalį bendradarbiavimą žemės ūkio technologijų srityje. Ši paroda yra svarbiausia platforma, kurioje pristatomi nacionalinių technologijų iniciatyvų rezultatai ir pramonės inovacijos, skatinant technologijų mainus ir pasaulinį bendradarbiavimą.
Taivano žemės ūkio ministerijos atstovai informavo, kad prieš šešerius metus šalis Europos Komisijai (EK) oficialiai pateikė paraiškas dėl patekimo į ES pieno, kiaušinių ir termiškai apdorotų mėsos produktų rinką, tačiau EK atidėjo procedūras. Tad delegacijos vadovė dr. Grace Lih-Fang Lin paprašė Lietuvos paramos įtikinant EK paspartinti procesus. Taip pat apžvelgtas progresas dėl leidimų lietuviškiems kiaušiniams ir paukštienai patekti į Taivano rinką, kuriuos planuojama gauti šiais metais.
Neseniai Taivano įmonei suteikta teisė vykdyti ekologinės žemės ūkio produktų sertifikavimą Lietuvoje. Viceministras V. Tomkus pabrėžė, kad tai viena iš galimybių, padėti kokybiškų, ekologiškų lietuviškų maisto produktų įsitvirtinimui Taivano rinkoje. Be to, 2023 m. Lietuvos ekologiško rapsų aliejaus gamintojas gavo Taivano sertifikatą. Viceministras V. Tomkus sutiko, kad siekiant sustiprinti dvišalę prekybą ekologiškais produktais, nepatiriant sertifikavimo užsienyje išlaidų, naudingiausia būtų pasirašyti ekologinio lygiavertiškumo sutartį tarp Taivano ir ES.
Darbo grupės posėdyje buvo pasidalinta patirtimi pesticidų mažinimo, ŠESD emisijų mažinimo srityse, taip pat aptartas ir bendradarbiavimas nelaimių valdymo technologijų srityje, įskaitant orų prognozę, išankstinį įspėjimą ir įvertinimus po nelaimės. Taivanas turi didelę nelaimių valdymo patirtį ir siūlo sukurti platformą, skirtą keistis informacija apie prisitaikymą prie klimato kaitos ir nelaimių prevencijos.
Taivano žemės ūkio ministerijos delegacija Lietuvoje lankysis 4 dienas, kurių metu susipažins su įmonėse taikomomis pažangiausiomis maisto pramonės technologijomis. Taip pat – lankysis VDU ŽUA, kur plėtos bendradarbiavimo mokslo ir tyrimų srityse ryšius, gilinsis į Lietuvoje taikomas inovatyvias maisto perdirbimo technologijas.
