Sveikatos apsaugos ministerija (SAM) lapkričio 13 d. paskelbė kvietimą teikti paraiškas Europos Sąjungos paramai, skirtai modernizuoti E. sveikatos medicininių tyrimų ir analizės funkcionalumams. Paraiškų laukiama iki gruodžio 29 d. Bendra priemonės finansuojama suma sudaro 4,96 mln. Eur.
Siekiant geriau išnaudoti turimus diagnostinius tyrimų rezultatus, įgalinant šiuolaikinių skaitmeninių analizės, tyrimų, telemedicinos ir kitų sprendimų panaudojimą, o ateityje užtikrinti apsikeitimą medicininiais vaizdais tarp šalių, atsirado poreikis modernizuoti E. sveikatos funkcionalumus, susijusius su medicininiais vaizdais ir jų aprašymais.
E. sveikatos modernizavimas ne tik išplės jos medicininį panaudojimą bei duomenų analizę, tačiau ir leis racionaliau naudoti esamus informacinių technologijų pajėgumus. Šiuo metu beveik pilnai užpildyta nacionalinės medicininių vaizdų saugyklos talpa, kas turi poveikį jos greitaveikai.
Naujų funkcionalumų įvedimas ir esamos sistemos atnaujinimas padidins jos greitaveiką, užtikrinant savalaikį apsikeitimą medicininių vaizdų informacija ir greitesnę prieigą prie didelių duomenų kiekių. Taip pat bus užtikrintos geresnės galimybės duomenų pakartotiniam naudojimui.
Projektą įgyvendina Registrų centras, kartu su Sveikatos apsaugos ministerija, Santaros klinikomis ir kitomis viešosiomis gydymo įstaigomis. Planuojama, kad projektas bus įgyvendintas iki 2025 m. gruodžio 31 d.
Paramą ir projektus administruoja Centrinė projektų valdymo agentūra (CPVA). Kvietimas ir reikalavimai projektams yra skelbiami ČIA.
