Balandžio 22 d. Bendrosios gaisrinės saugos taisyklės papildytos nauju skyriumi „Pavojingųjų ir nepavojingųjų atliekų laikymas“, kuriuo reglamentuojamas atliekų tvarkymas. Šias taisykles patvirtino Priešgaisrinės apsaugos ir gelbėjimo departamento prie Vidaus reikalų ministerijos direktorius Saulius Greičius.
„Iki šiol nebuvo teisės aktų, kurie reglamentuotų atliekų, išskyrus padangų ir gumos, plastiko ir medienos, laikymą ir tvarkymą, – sakė Departamento Valstybinės priešgaisrinės priežiūros valdybos viršininkas Jūris Targonskas. – Įvertinus prieš keletą metų atliekų utilizavimo įmonėje „Žalvaris“ kilusio gaisro bei kitų pastaraisiais metais kilusių gaisrų, susijusių su atliekų tvarkymu bei laikymu, aplinkybes, kartu su Aplinkos ministerija buvo inicijuotas Bendrųjų gaisrinės saugos taisyklių pakeitimas, kuriuo siekiama reglamentuoti atliekų tvarkymą. Nauji reikalavimai taikomi atliekoms, kurios pasižymi degumo ar sprogimo požymiais, sudaro degią aplinką ar gali savaime užsiliepsnoti.“
Bendrųjų gaisrinės saugos taisyklių pakeitimas buvo inicijuotas pernai rudenį. Tuo metu pradėtos diskusijos su Aplinkos ministerijos, Aplinkos apsaugos agentūros ir Aplinkos apsaugos departamento specialistais.
Šių metų sausį projektas buvo pateiktas oficialiam derinimui Teisės aktų informacinėje sistemoje. Jį galėjo vertinti visuomenė ir suinteresuotos asociacijos. 12 institucijų bei asociacijų pateikė įvairiausių pastabų. Jos buvo įvertintos kovo mėnesį surengtame tarpžinybiniame pasitarime, kuriame dalyvavo valstybinės institucijos ir asociacijos.
Pasak J. Targonsko, Bendrųjų gaisrinės saugos taisyklių pakeitimo taikymas palies daug ūkio subjektų, užsiimančių atliekų laikymo veikla. Dėl spręstinų klausimų bus diskutuojama.
Papildytos Bendrosios gaisrinės saugos taisyklės įsigalios 2025 m. sausio 1 d., per tiek laiko verslas turės galimybę prisitaikyti prie naujojo reglamentavimo.
O nuostatos dėl gaisro gesinimo sistemos įrengimo įsigalios 2025 m. liepos 1 d. Taip pat nuo 2025 m. liepos 1 d. šios taisyklės bus taikomos Lietuvos regioninių atliekų tvarkymo centrų atliekų laikymo ir tvarkymo infrastruktūros objektams.
