Baltarusija, vykdydama šį nesaugų branduolinės energetikos projektą ir toliau ignoruoja tarptautinės bendruomenės prašymus pirmiausia spręsti visas saugos problemas.
Nesaugi atominė elektrinė Astrave kelia didelę grėsmę visai Europai, todėl Lietuva primygtinai reikalauja stabdyti Baltarusijos AE pirmojo ir antrojo energijos blokų eksploatavimą iki tol, kol nebus išspręstos visos saugos problemos.
