Pexels. Pasaulinio lygio, tarptautiškos ir prieinamos studijos – siekiant šio tikslo būtinas aukščiausi lygio mokslas, į kurį įsitrauktų ir studentai, o mokslo rezultatai turėtų poveikį ekonomikos plėtrai, visuomenei. Švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministerija inicijavo mokslinių tyrimų stiprinimo programą „Universitetų ekscelencijos iniciatyva“, skirtą paskatinti valstybinius universitetus gerinti mokslo lygį, mokslo rezultatų poveikį, pritraukti daugiau aukšto lygio tyrėjų.
Pagal programą universitetams šiemet skiriamas 11,5 mln. eurų valstybės finansavimas. Tai padės universitetams stiprinti pasirinktas didžiausio potencialo sritis bei mokslininkų kompetencijas, plėtoti moksliniams tyrimams ir eksperimentinei plėtrai (MTEP) reikalingą infrastruktūrą. Iki 2027 m. mokslui universitetuose stiprinti iš viso numatyta 57,5 mln. eurų.
„Šia programa norime padėti valstybiniams universitetams sustiprinti mokslinį potencialą, vystyti aukščiausio lygio mokslinius tyrimus, kuriais bus grindžiamos studijos, o moksliniai rezultatai taps pagrindu šalies socialiniai ir ekonominei gerovei kurti. Suteikiame galimybę universitetams, geriausiai žinantiems savo stiprybes ir puikiai suprantantiems šalies prioritetus, spręsti, į kurias sritis verta dar daugiau investuoti ir siekti proveržio. Tai reikalinga, kad mokslu ir jo rezultatų poveikiu galėtume lyderiauti pasaulyje.
Mums taip pat svarbu sudaryti sąlygas, kad į mokslo veiklas įsitrauktų kuo daugiau studentų ir jaunųjų tyrėjų, kurti daugiau tarptautinės reikšmės mokslo darbų, pritraukti išorinių tarptautinių ir verslo investicijų į šalies MTEP“, – sako švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministras Gintautas Jakštas.
Pasak ministro, aukštiems mokslo rezultatams pasiekti itin reikšmingos valstybės investicijos.
„Programą galime įgyvendinti dėl nuosekliai augančio valstybės finansavimo mokslui – šiemet MTEP veikloms skiriame 70,3 mln. eurų daugiau nei pernai. Lietuva turi didelių ambicijų ir galimybių pasiekti proveržį moksle“, – sako G. Jakštas.
Programoje dalyvausiantys valstybiniai universitetai bus skatinami kurti arba stiprinti turimus ekscelencijos centrus – sutelktos MTEP infrastruktūros ir žmogiškųjų resursų kompetencijos centrus, skirtus aukščiausio tarptautinio lygio rezultatams pasiekti.
Valstybiniai universitetai kviečiami teikti paraiškas dalyvauti programoje iki spalio 3 d. Susipažinti su kvietimu galima čia.
Universitetų pateiktas paraiškas dalyvauti programoje vertins Švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministerijos sudaryta komisija. Programa bus įgyvendinama iki 2027 m. pabaigos.
