ŠMSM nuotr. Balandžio 19 d. švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministrė Jurgita Šiugždinienė susitiko su Lichtenšteino užsienio reikalų, švietimo ir sporto ministre Dominique Hasler. Ministrės Švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministerijoje kartu aptarė, kaip užtikrinti Ukrainos pabėgėlių integraciją švietimo sistemoje ir visuomenėje.
Susitikimo metu J. Šiugždinienė su viešnia pasidalino Lietuvos patirtimi, sprendžiant ukrainiečių vaikų integracijos iššūkius mokyklose.
„Lietuvoje turime apie 20 tūkst. ukrainiečių vaikų, tačiau ne visi mokosi mokyklose. Šiuo metu sprendžiame, kaip motyvuoti ukrainiečių šeimas registruoti vaikus mūsų mokyklose. Ukrainiečiams suteikiame tokias pačias galimybes, kaip ir lietuviams. Labai stengiamės, kad jie čia jaustųsi gerai ir patogiai, nes esame atsakingi už Ukrainos ateitį“, – sakė J. Šiugždinienė.
D. Hasler pažymėjo, kad su iššūkiais integruojant ukrainiečių vaikus susiduria ir Lichtenšteinas. Pasak jos, ukrainiečių pabėgėliams itin svarbu išmokti priimančios valstybės kalbą ir įsitraukti į platesnę bendruomenę. Pasak jos, Lichtenšteine naudojami įvairūs aktyvūs metodai, kaip ukrainiečių vaikus kuo greičiau išmokyti vokiečių kalbos, padėti jiems įsilieti į bendraamžių gretas.
D. Hasler taip pat domėjosi, kokias galimybes mokytis Lietuvos profesinėse mokyklose turi čia atvykę ukrainiečiai, pakvietė J. Šiugždinienę bendradarbiauti dalinantis abiejų valstybių gerąja praktika profesinio mokymo klausimais.
