Kviečiame kandidatuoti žmones, kurie norėtų prisidėti prie švietimo politiką ir strategiją nustatančių teisės aktų projektų rengimo, stebėti jų įgyvendinimą, konsultuoti ir teikti Seimui, Prezidentui, Vyriausybei, ministerijai, savivaldybių institucijoms, švietimo teikėjams, mokslo ir studijų institucijoms siūlymus švietimo tobulinimo klausimais, šviesti visuomenę apie švietimo politiką.
Kandidatams svarbu turėti darbo patirties bent vienoje ar keliose iš šių veiklos sričių: ankstyvasis ugdymas, bendrasis ugdymas, profesinis mokymas, studijos, mokslas, pedagogų ir mokslininkų skatinimas ir pritraukimas, ugdymas karjerai ir mokymasis visą gyvenimą, įtraukusis ugdymas, skaitmeninis švietimas.
Iš gautų kandidatūrų ministerija atrinks ir paskirs du žmones. Iš viso ministerija į Švietimo tarybą skiria 3 atstovus, iš kurių vienas turi būti Bendrojo ugdymo tarybos narys.
Lietuvos švietimo taryba yra Seimo sudaryta ir jam atskaitinga valstybės švietimo savivaldos institucija, atliekanti ekspertinį vertinimą ir konsultuojanti strateginiais švietimo plėtros klausimais. Tarybos nariai dirba visuomeniniais pagrindais.
Visus susidomėjusius kviečiame siųsti trumpą motyvacinį laišką ir savo gyvenimo aprašymą. Kartu prašome pateikti užpildytą sutikimą dėl asmens duomenų tvarkymo.
