Senėjant visuomenei sveikatos apsaugos sistema turi persiorientuoti į paslaugas, kurios tenkina pagyvenusių pacientų poreikius. Viena iš tokių priemonių – geriatrijos paslaugų plėtra. Antradienį, liepos 25 d., Marijampolėje sveikatos apsaugos ministras Arūnas Dulkys vietos ligoninėje atidarė naują geriatrijos skyrių. Naujasis skyrius – dalis geriatrijos tinklo visoje Lietuvoje, kurį sudarys iš viso trys dešimtys skyrių šalies ligoninėse. Naujieji skyriai pagerins sveikatos paslaugų pagyvenusiems žmonėms teikimą, jų paslaugomis galės pasinaudoti dešimtys tūkstančių pacientų.
Sveikatos apsaugos ministras Arūnas Dulkys teigia, kad demografinės tendencijos rodo, jog Lietuvos visuomenė sparčiai sensta, todėl būtina pertvarkyti gydymo paslaugas, kad jos atitiktų gyventojų poreikius.
„Esame viena sparčiausiai senėjančių visuomenių Europos Sąjungoje, tai ilgalaikė tendencija, su kuria teks gyventi. Tas ypač ryšku regionuose. Sveikatos paslaugų perorientavimas į senėjančios visuomenės poreikius yra vienas svarbiausių uždavinių, užtikrinant sveiką ir orų senėjimą. Suplanuotas net 29 geriatrijos skyrių ir kabinetų atidarymas, vienas iš jų Marijampolėje. Tūkstančiai pagyvenusių pacientų visoje Lietuvoje galės pasinaudoti į juos orientuotomis paslaugomis prie namų“, – atidaryme sakė A. Dulkys.
Marijampolės ligoninėje atidarytas 23 lovų geriatrijos skyrius. Įgyvendinant projektą, atnaujinta ir skyriaus infrastruktūra: atliktas patalpų remontas, pakeistas liftas ir įsigyti baldai, medicininė bei kompiuterinė įranga, reikalinga geriatrijos paslaugų teikimui. Iš viso investicijos į skyrių siekia 1,4 mln. Eur, iš kurių milijonas yra Europos Sąjungos investicijos.
Kuriant geriartijos paslaugų tinklą, įkurta geriatrijos bazė Kauno klinikose, aštuoni geriatrijos skyriai regioninėse ligoninėse (Alytuje, Marijampolėje, Šiauliuose, Panevėžyje, Utenoje, Telšiuose, Tauragėje, Klaipėdoje) bei 20 dienos stacionarų rajonų ligoninėse (Kėdainiuose, Ukmergėje, Radviliškyje, Rokiškyje, Raseiniuose, Lazdijuose, Druskininkuose, Švenčionyse, Vilkaviškyje, Varėnoje, Jurbarke, Elektrėnuose, Biržuose, Kaišiadoryse, Ignalinoje, Zarasuose, Širvintose, Molėtuose, Kupiškyje, Kuršėnuose). Projektas įgyvendinamas užtikrinant sveiką senėjimą bei sveikatos paslaugų perorientavimą į pagyvenusių žmonių poreikius. Bendra investicijų suma sudaro 26,5 mln. Eur, didžioji dalis lėšų finansuoja Europos Sąjunga. Pagal projekto reikalavimus, visi skyriai turi būti atidaryti iki rugsėjo.
Geriatrijos asmens sveikatos priežiūros paslaugos teikiamos 60 metų ir vyresniems pacientams, kai senėjimo proceso sukeltus pakitimus lydi keletas ligų, ūmių ar paūmėjusių lėtinių, kurios mažina paciento funkcinį savarankiškumą. Geriatrijos asmens sveikatos priežiūros paslaugos ypatingos tuo, kad teikiant šias paslaugas senyvo amžiaus žmogaus ligos gydomos neatskirai, o sutelkiamas dėmesys į tas būkles, kurios riboja pacientų funkcines galimybes.
