Nuo 2024 m. sausio 1 d. sveikatos apsaugos viceministro pareigas pradėjo eiti dr. Olegas Niakšu. Jis bus atsakingas už sveikatos apsaugos sistemos skaitmenizaciją ir modernizaciją, E. sveikatos sprendimų diegimą. O. Niakšu pastaruosius tris mėnesius ėjo ministro Arūno Dulkio patarėjo pareigas. Jis yra sukaupęs daugiau nei 20-ies metų tarptautinę patirtį informacinių technologijų ir projektų valdymo srityje.
Sveikatos apsaugos ministras Arūnas Dulkys teigia, kad O. Niakšu tapimas viceministru leis teikti prioritetą ir pagreitinti su E. sveikata susijusius sprendimus ir jų patobulinimus, o tai gera žinia tiek pacientams, tiek medikų bendruomenei.
„Nors nuo 2016 m. galime naudotis E. receptais, galimas apsikeitimas pagrindiniais pacientų medicininiais dokumentais ir jų peržiūra E. sveikatos portaluose, yra dar nemažai spręstinų uždavinių, siekiant pilnavertiškos sveikatos sektoriaus skaitmeninės transformacijos. Svarbu užtikrinti patikimą E. sveikatos infrastruktūros veikimą bei suteikti galimybę Lietuvos gyventojams ir medicinos darbuotojams naudotis pažangiausiomis informacinėmis technologijomis“, – įsitikinęs O. Niakšu.
O. Niakšu yra sukaupęs daugiau nei 20 metų patirtį įgyvendinant ir valdant skaitmenizacijos projektus Europoje, Azijoje ir Afrikoje. Naujasis viceministras yra tokių tarptautinių organizacijų, kaip Jungtinės Tautos, vykdančios plėtros programą, Pasaulio bankas, Vokietijos vystymo bankas KfW, ekspertas. Jis aktyviai dalyvavo rengiant valstybines skaitmeninės transformacijos programas, strateginius planus sveikatos, edukacijos ir E. valdžios srityse.
O. Niakšu studijavo informacines technologijas Vilniaus Gedimino technikos ir Vilniaus universitetuose, toliau savarankiškai kėlė kvalifikaciją, įgydamas tarptautinius sertifikatus projektų valdymo bei E. sveikatos srityse. Vilniaus universitete jis apsigynė technologijų mokslo daktaro laipsnį. Naujasis viceministras yra paskelbęs mokslinių publikacijų duomenų valdymo ir E. sveikatos srityse.
