Svarbu priminti, kad siekiantys gauti tiesiogines išmokas turi įrodyti aktyvaus ūkininkavimo faktą, jaunieji ūkininkai – pagrįsti pasirengimą ūkininkauti. Papildoma perskirstomoji pajamų paramos išmoka mokama tik deklaruojantiems mažiau kaip 500 ha.
Be to, pareiškėjai gali savanoriškai prisiimti papildomus įsipareigojimus ir reikalavimus bei gauti papildomą klimatui, aplinkai ir gyvūnų gerovei naudingų sistemų išmoką (ekologinės sistemos). Ekologinės sistemos šiemet buvo papildytos nauja ekologine sistema „Ariamosios žemės keitimas pievomis, jų išlaikymas ir priežiūra“, peržiūrėti ekologinių sistemų išmokų dydžiai, atnaujinti reikalavimai paramai gauti..
