Vasario 13 dieną, minint Lietuvos valstybės atkūrimo 106-ąsias metines, Lietuvos ambasada Rumunijoje ir Bulgarijos Respublikai sukvietė Lietuvos draugus į diplomatinį priėmimą Bukarešte.
Susirinkusius svečius sveikino Rumunijos užsienio reikalų ministerijos valstybės sekretorius Luca Niculescu ir Lietuvos ambasadorius Artūras Žurauskas. Renginyje apsilankė Senato ir atstovų rūmų nariai, prezidentūros ir vyriausybės kanceliarijos atstovai, Bukarešte reziduojantys demokratinių šalių ambasadoriai, gausus būrys Lietuvos bičiulių ir lietuvių bendruomenės nariai.
„2024 metais sukanka 100 metų nuo Lietuvos ir Rumunijos diplomatinių santykių užmezgimo. Kartu džiaugiamės, kad Lietuva ir Rumunija palaiko dinamiškus ir vis stipresnius dvišalius santykius. Mus sieja bendra istorinė patirtis ir glaudi partnerystė įvairiais dvišaliais ir daugiašaliais formatais – glaudžiai bendradarbiaujame Europos Sąjungoje, esame panašiai mąstantys sąjungininkai NATO ir kartu sprendžiame saugumo problemas rytiniame NATO flange. Kartu remiame Ukrainą ir Moldovą jų kelyje į Europos integraciją, mus sieja bendras tikslas padėti Ukrainai laimėti karą ir užtikrinti taiką bei saugumą visoje Europoje.
