Žemės ūkio ministerija kartu su Valstybine maisto ir veterinarijos tarnyba (VMVT) imasi veiksmų užkirsti kelią nelegaliam daržovių įvežimui iš Rusijos. Jau sustiprinta kontrolė, atliekami į Lietuvą patenkančių produktų laboratoriniai tyrimai. Svarstoma pasitelkti ir Austrijos laboratoriją tyrimams dėl vaisių ir daržovių kilmės nustatymo. Jau taikomos ir dar planuojamos priemonės aptartos su socialiniais partneriais iš Lietuvos šiltnamių asociacijos (LŠA).
Žemės ūkio ministerijos, VMVT, Nacionalinio maisto ir veterinarijos rizikos vertinimo instituto bei LŠA atstovų susitikime aptartos problemos, su kuriomis susiduria daržovių ir vaisių sektorius, sutarta dėl veiksmų, padėsiančių šias problemas spręsti.
LŠA prieš kelias savaites paskelbė, kad Rusijoje užauginti agurkai ir pomidorai per Lenkiją galimai patenka į Lietuvą, klastojant jų kilmės dokumentus. Tokiu būdu vietos augintojai susiduria su nesąžininga konkurencija, nes rusiška produkcija pardavinėjama keleriopai pigiau nei vietinė ar užauginta Lenkijoje arba Latvijoje. Be to, pirkėjai gali nė neįtarti, kad įsigijo rusiškų daržovių.

Žemės ūkio viceministras Vytenis Tomkus atkreipia dėmesį, kad sugriežtinta kontrolė veikia ir kaip prevencinė priemonė. Jei anksčiau kažkas įveždavo produkcijos su suklastotais kilmės dokumentais, tai dabar tą darydamas susidurtų su kur kas didesne rizika įkliūti.
LŠA atstovai taip pat sako sulaukę reakcijų, kad rinkoje jaučiama sustiprinta vaisių ir daržovių kontrolė, taip pat jaučiamas vietos gamintojų produkcijos paklausos augimas. „Tikimės, kad nebeliks nė menkiausios galimybės įvežti daržoves iš Rusijos, kilmės dokumentuose nurodant, kad jos – iš Lenkijos. Taikomos priemonės padeda siekti šio tikslo“, – teigia LŠA vadovas Paulius Andriejavas.
VMVT atstovai bendradarbiauja su kolegomis Lenkijoje, kad galėtų operatyviai nustatyti rizikas. Lietuvos institucijos svarsto ir dar vieną kontrolės priemonę – Austrijos laboratorijoje yra galimybė atlikti vaisių ir daržovių kilmės nustatymo tyrimus. Vis dėlto viceministras V. Tomkus ragina neapsiriboti vien tik griežtesne kontrole Lietuvoje. Efektyviausiai veiktų apribojimai visos Europos Sąjungos mastu.
„Kai prekės patenka į bendrą ES rinką, vėliau daug sunkiau kontroliuoti jų judėjimą. Todėl turėtume siekti riboti šių prekių patekimą į ją“, – tvirtina V. Tomkus.
Dar kovo mėnesį Lietuva kartu su Latvija, Estija, Lenkija ir Čekija paragino Europos Komisiją išanalizuoti galimybę apriboti rusiškos ir baltarusiškos kilmės maisto produktų importą į ES.
