Vidaus reikalų viceministrė Agneta Ladek susitiko su Vokietijos Bavarijos žemės parlamento Federalinių ir Europos reikalų bei regioninių santykių komiteto delegacija. Susitikimo metu buvo aptarta situacija prie Europos Sąjungos išorės sienų, ypatingas dėmesys skirtas migracijos, sienų apsaugos ir saugumo klausimams, taip pat Baltarusijos ir Rusijos keliamoms grėsmėms regione.
„Geopolitinė situacija regione, kuriame Lietuva turi sienas su Rusija ir Baltarusija, reikalauja ypatingo dėmesio ir sustiprinto saugumo priemonių taikymo. Lietuva susiduria su įvairiomis grėsmėmis – nuo neteisėtos migracijos iki hibridinių atakų bei radiologinių ir branduolinių grėsmių. Bendri regioniniai sprendimai ir glaudesnis bendradarbiavimas su partneriais, tokiais kaip Vokietija, yra būtini siekiant užtikrinti visų regiono valstybių saugumą. Esame ypatingai dėkingi Vokietijai už glaudžius ryšius ir paramą, kuri padeda stiprinti ne tik Lietuvos, bet ir viso regiono saugumą“, – sakė vidaus reikalų viceministrė Agneta Ladek.
Viceministrė A. Ladek pažymėjo, kad rytinės ES išorės sienos susiduria su vis didesniu neteisėtos migracijos spaudimu. Palyginti su 2023 metais, neteisėto sienos kirtimo atvejų šiais metais padaugėjo 180 proc. Ypač sunki situacija stebima Baltarusijos ir Lenkijos pasienyje, kur neteisėtas sienos kirtimas ir migrantų skaičius auga agresyvių veiksmų kontekste. Be to, FRONTEX duomenimis, 90 proc. migrantų, kertančių Baltarusijos ir Lenkijos sieną, turi Rusijos vizas, kas rodo, kad migrantai į Baltarusiją patenka per Rusiją.
Delegacijai taip pat pristatytos Lietuvos Vyriausybės priemones, skirtos sienų apsaugai stiprinti. Lietuva įdiegė modernias sienos stebėjimo sistemas, padengiančias 100 proc. išorinės sienos su Baltarusija, pastatė fizinį barjerą, taip pat planuoja kreiptis dėl ES finansavimo pagal Sienų valdymo ir vizų priemonės programą.
Susitikimo metu buvo aptarta ir hibridinių grėsmių dinamika, kurią kelia Baltarusija ir Rusija. Lietuva pastebėjo intensyvėjančius bepiločių orlaivių naudojimo atvejus, kurie galėtų būti naudojami ne tik kontrabandos, bet ir žvalgybos tikslams. Šiais metais Lietuvos pasieniečiai fiksavo beveik 300 bepiločių orlaivių judėjimo atvejų pasienyje.
