Vyriausybės posėdyje pritarta Vidaus reikalų ministerijos siūlymui reorganizuoti Asmens dokumentų išrašymo centrą (toliau – ADIC). Šią įstaigą planuojama prijungti prie Migracijos departamento, kuriam pereitų visos ADIC teisės ir pareigos.
ADIC veikla yra labai specifinė, o atliekamos funkcijos – glaudžiai susietos su Migracijos departamente vykstančiais dokumentų išdavimo procesais.
Reorganizacija siekiama sustiprinti įstaigos kontrolę, gerinti klientų aptarnavimo kokybę bei užtikrinti aukštus asmens dokumentų gamybos ir nacionaliniam saugumui taikomus standartus.
Įstaigoje dirbantiems žmonėms bus siekiama skurti patrauklesnes ir lankstesnes darbo sąlygas, darbuotojų turimos socialinės garantijos išliks nepasikeitusios.
ADIC reorganizuoti planuojama nuo 2025 m. sausio 1 d., tačiau siekiant sklandaus elektroninės atpažinties sertifikavimo perėmimo, įstaigos reorganizavimas galės būti pratęstas.
