2023 m. spalio 7 d. „Hamas“ teroristinei grupuotei pradėjus teroristines atakas prieš Izraelį, įsiveržus į šalies teritoriją ir vykdant teroro aktus, Izraelis paskelbė karo padėtį. Išpuoliai bei apšaudymai taip pat vyksta Izraelio ir Libano pasienyje, todėl teroristinių išpuolių grėsmių geografija žaibiškai gali pasikeisti.
Užsienio reikalų ministerijos rekomendacija Lietuvos piliečiams – nevykti į Libaną. Esantiems Libane – imtis atsargumo priemonių (likti viešbutyje, namuose ar kitoje saugioje vietoje, nebūti prie langų, turėti būtiniausių atsargų). Saugumo situacija šalyje, ypač pasienyje su Izraeliu, kinta labai greitai, todėl būtina nuolat sekti informaciją ir būti budriems, vadovautis vietos valdžios patarimais bei įvertinti, kad situacijai pablogėjus iš Libano bus sunkiau išvykti. Taip pat rekomenduojame nuolat stebėti oro uostų informaciją.
Ypač pavojingos zonos, į kurias primygtinai rekomenduojama nevykti: pasienio su Izraeliu teritorijos, ypač į pietus nuo Litanijos upės, pietinė Beiruto dalis, Tripolis (Trablous), šiaurinė Bekaa slėnio dalis ir Hermelio rajonas, palestiniečių pabėgėlių stovyklos, pasienio ruožas su Sirija. Pavojus išlieka ir likusiame Beirute, Sidone (Saida) bei pietinėje Bekaa slėnio dalyje.
Jei šiuo metu esate Libane ar vis tik ketinate ten keliauti, nedelsiant prašome užsiregistruoti užpildant kelionės registracijos formą, kad prireikus galėtume su jumis susisiekti dėl konsulinės pagalbos.
