Vidaus reikalų ministerija kreipėsi į Finansų ministeriją dėl papildomų Europos Sąjungos (ES) fondų lėšų civilinei saugai ir miestų vietos veiklos grupių rezervinėms strategijoms.
2024 m. birželio 13 d. vykusio 2021–2027 m. ES fondų investicijų stebėsenos komiteto posėdžio metu svarstyti 2021–2027 m. ES fondų investicijų programos įgyvendinimo klausimai.
Vidaus reikalų viceministras Arnoldas Abramavičius akcentavo ES fondų lėšų poreikį ne tik bendruomenių inicijuotai vietos plėtrai, bet ir kitai vidaus reikalų ministerijos kuruojamai civilinei saugai.
Pasak A. Abramavičiaus, šiuo laikotarpiu ypač aktualu stiprinti civilinę saugą, gyventojų perspėjimą, informavimą ir savisaugą, skiriant papildomų ES lėšų gyventojų perspėjimo ir informavimo infrastruktūrai.
2021–2027 m. ES fondų investicijų programoje numatyta 5 mln. 500 tūkst. Eur lėšų, už kurias planuojama įsigyti apie 200 sirenų.
Vidaus reikalų ministerija kreipėsi į Finansų ministeriją su prašymu skirti papildomai 7,18 mln. Eur, už kuriuos būtų įsigyta dar 75 sirenų, taip pat 891 sirenų būtų pajungta į centralizuotą valdymo sistemą.
Tuo pačiu viceministras A. Abramavičius atkreipė Stebėsenos komiteto narių, Finansų ministerijos (kuri yra 2021–2027 m. ES fondų investicijų programos vadovaujančioji institucija) ir posėdyje dalyvavusių Europos komisijos atstovų dėmesį į didžiulį poreikį finansuoti miestų vietos veiklos grupių rezervinį vietos plėtros strategijų sąrašą.
Šiuo metu Vidaus reikalų ministerija yra patvirtinusi finansuotinas 39 vietos veiklos grupių vietos plėtros strategijas, kurioms jau skirta virš 36 mln. Eur.
Prašoma papildomai skirti 8,47 mln. Eur rezerviniame sąraše esančių 13 strategijų įgyvendinimui. Tai prisidėtų prie regioninių skirtumų mažinimo, suteiktų galimybę daug didesnei daliai bendruomenių spręsti vietoje kylančias socialinės atskirties bei užimtumo skatinimo problemas.
