Lapkričio 13 dieną Lietuvos ambasadoje Dubline Airijos lietuvių bendruomenės nariai susitiko su kovos su dezinformacijos ir propaganda ekspertu iš Vilniaus Tomu Čeponiu.
Pranešėjas susirinkusiuosius ir prie renginio nuotoliu prisijungusius klausytojus išsamiai supažindino su Rusijos kuriamais įvairialypiais naratyvais bandant suklaidinti visuomenę, ypač demokratinėse valstybėse, pristatė žiniasklaidos vaidmenį prisidedant prie nacionalinio saugumo stiprinimo. Lietuvių bendruomenės nariai aktyviai domėjosi, kokiais būdais būtų galima kovoti su dezinformacija ir propaganda, teiravosi apie švietimo vaidmenį stiprinant atsparumą, dirbtinio intelekto vaidmenį kuriant melagienas.
T. Čeponis dalyvauja Dubline Ukrainos ir JAV ambasadų kartu su ES atstovybe Airijoje surengtoje diskusijoje „Kaip Rusijos propaganda ir dezinformacija veikia pasaulio visuomenes“, susitinka su Airijos Parlamento Spaudos komiteto nariais.
