Gegužės 26 dieną baigėsi kasmetinis Vilniaus Rusijos forumas, kuriame aptarti aktualiausi su Rusija susiję klausimai: agresija prieš Ukrainą, vidaus politikos aktualijos, žmogaus teisių padėtis, raidos tendencijos.
Kaip ir pernai, šiais metais pagrindinis dėmesys diskusijų metu skirtas Rusijos agresijai prieš Ukrainą, spaudimo nusikalstamam Kremliaus režimui ir asmeniškai V. Putinui didinimui, Rusijos raidos tendencijoms ir itin blogėjančiai žmogaus teisių padėčiai pačioje Rusijoje.
„Kremliaus režimo valdomos Rusijos keliama grėsmė išlieka, kol šis režimas yra valdžioje, tol niekas Europoje ir pasaulyje negali jaustis saugus. Todėl svarbu ir toliau visapusiškai padėti Ukrainai, tačiau tuo pačiu norime matyti aktyvią opoziciją V. Putinui ne tik užsienyje, bet ir pačioje Rusijoje, kuri ne tik nori, bet ir siekia pokyčių Rusijos politinėje sistemoje. Tik taip gali atsirasti reali alternatyva Putino režimui, kurios šiuo metu nematome“, – sakė užsienio reikalų ministras Gabrielius Landsbergis.
Forume dalyvavo žinomi Rusijos pilietinės visuomenės atstovai, žmogaus teisių gynėjai, tarptautinių analitinių centrų ekspertai, žurnalistai, akademikai ir politikai.
Vilniaus Rusijos forumo susitikimus organizuoja Užsienio reikalų ministerija kartu su keletu partnerių Lietuvoje ir užsienyje. Jie rengiami nuo 2014 metų.
