Kur link judame?“, skirta pristatyti ilgalaikės priežiūros, ambulatorinių slaugos paslaugų namuose pokyčius, aptarti būdus, kaip į Klaipėdos regioną pritraukti slaugos specialistus ir studentus bei įtraukti į diskusijas suinteresuotas šalis, išgirsti ir aptarti jų siūlymus.
„Slaugytojas – specialistas, esantis arčiausiai paciento, tad laikas formuoti tinkamą požiūrį į šią profesiją. Jau dabar jiems pradedama teikti vis daugiau teisių ir savarankiškumo, optimizuojami darbo krūviai, tobulinama atlygio sistema. Tačiau to neužtenka. Visos suinteresuotos grupės – gydymo įstaigų, savivaldybių, aukštųjų mokyklų, studentų atstovai – visi turi vienodai prisiimti atsakomybę – tapti slaugos politikos ambasadoriais ir didinti slaugytojų profesijos prestižą. Lietuvos slaugos specialistų organizacijos prezidentė Aušra Volodkaitė renginyje atkreipė dėmesį, kad su slaugytojų pritraukimo iššūkiais susiduria ne tik Lietuva, bet ir visas pasaulis – slaugytojų poreikis didėja ir vis labiau didės dėl senėjančios visuomenės, darbuotojų migracijos, didelių krūvių ir slaugytojų lūkesčių neatitinkančio darbo užmokesčio. „Turime stengtis ne tik pritraukti daugiau jaunų žmonių rinktis studijuoti slaugą, bet ir stengtis išlaikyti jau esančius darbuotojus“, – pabrėžė A. Volodkaitė.
Atsakant į klausimą, kas motyvuotų slaugos studentus rinktis darbą regionuose, Lietuvos medicinos studentų asociacijos (LiMSA) prezidentė Greta Burinskaitė teigė, jog studentams aktualu kelti atlyginimus, kompensuoti apgyvendinimo ir/ar kelionių į darbo vietą regionuose išlaidas, skirti priedus prie atlyginimo po sutarties pasirašymo ir išdirbus tam tikrą laiką, užtikrinti saugią emocinę aplinką ir galimybę kilti karjeros laipteliais.
„LiMSA atliktos apklausos duomenys parodė, jog tik 60 proc. studentų renkasi slaugos studijas norėdami tapti slaugytojais, beveik 15 proc. apklaustųjų nurodė, jog pasirinko slaugos studijas, nes konkursinis balas į norimą specialybę buvo per žemas. Panašus skaičius studentų teigia, jog slaugą studijuoja tik dėl galimybės ateityje dirbti kosmetologijos srityje. Taigi, matome, jog tik 3 iš 5 studentų yra tikrai motyvuoti dėl pasirinkto karjeros kelio – tai parodo, jog slaugytojo specialybė Lietuvos visuomenėje nėra pakankamai vertinama“, – teigė G. Burinskaitė.
Konferencijoje dalyvavo Klaipėdos regiono gydymo įstaigų atstovai, savivaldybių gydytojai bei administracijų atstovai, slaugos studentus ruošiančių mokyklų – Klaipėdos universiteto bei Klaipėdos valstybinės kolegijos – atstovai ir studentai bei svečiai iš Lietuvos medicinos studentų asociacijos (LiMSA).
