Deklaruojantiems žemės ūkio naudmenas ir pasėlius, kartais kyla klausimų dėl žaliojo pūdymo.
Žaliasis pūdymas – tai ariamosios žemės plotas, kuriame, siekiant pagerinti dirvos struktūrą, einamaisiais metais pasėti žemės ūkio augalai įterpiami į dirvą ar kitaip sutvarkomi (voluojami, smulkinami, skutami).
Pareiškėjai, deklaruodami pūdymo plotus, turi užtikrinti, kad nuo einamųjų metų sausio 1 iki rugpjūčio 1 d. žaliajame pūdyme nebūtų vykdoma žemės ūkio gamyba (t. y. ganomi ūkiniai gyvūnai, šienaujama žolė, išskyrus žaliosios masės įterpimą į dirvą ir sutvarkymą) einamųjų metų produkcijai gauti.
Žaliajame pūdyme turi būti auginamas bent dviejų žemės ūkio augalų mišinys iš vasarinių rapsų, rapsukų, garstyčių (baltųjų ir rudųjų, juodųjų), ridikų (aliejinių ir baltųjų, juodųjų), avižų, svidrių, facelijų, grikių, saulėgrąžų ir visų Klasifikatoriaus II bei III grupės augalų. Šis mišinys ne vėliau kaip iki einamųjų metų rugsėjo 1 d. turi būti įterpiamas į dirvą ar kitaip sutvarkomas (voluojamas, smulkinamas, skutamas). Prieš sutvarkant žaliąjį pūdymą, nuimti augalų derlių draudžiama.
Vis populiarėjant tiesioginei sėjai, optimalus sėjos laikas dėl klimato kaitos reiškinių yra rugsėjo mėnesio antroje pusėje, tad žaliojo pūdymo įterpimo į dirvą ir sutvarkymo data (rugsėjo 1 d.) yra per ankstyva, todėl ją svarstoma pavėlinti.
Žaliąjį pūdymą galima išlaikyti trumpiau nei nurodyta, jei pareiškėjas prieš žaliosios masės įterpimą į dirvą ar jos sutvarkymą mobiliąja programėle „NMA agro“ iš skirtingų lauko vietų pateikia auginamo mišinio nuotraukas.
Žaliojo pūdymo plotas tinkamas geros agrarinės ir aplinkosaugos būklės reikalavimo – 8 GAAB užskaitai: nuo 2024 m. pareiškėjai privalės ne mažiau kaip 4 proc. savo deklaruojamos ariamosios žemės skirti kraštovaizdžio elementams ir (arba) žaliajam pūdymui. Tačiau šiemet šis GAAB reikalavimas nėra privalomas.
Siekiantys dalyvauti kompleksinėje ekologinėje sistemoje „Veiklos ariamojoje žemėje“ turi žinoti, kad žaliojo pūdymo plotas įskaitomas į 5 proc. negamybinei veiklai skiriamo ploto. Šis pūdymas taip pat gali dalyvauti minėtosios ekologinės sistemos veikloje „Augalų kaitoje“ kaip vienas iš augalų kaitos narių.
