2024 m. Vidaus reikalų ministerijos biudžeto projekte numatyta papildomai skirti 742 tūkst. eurų pareigūnų reabilitacijai, todėl reabilitacijos paslaugomis kitais metais galės pasinaudoti iš viso daugiau kaip 2 500 pareigūnų.
Anksčiau per metus reabilitacijas paslaugas gaudavo iki 1 500 vidaus reikalų statutinių tarnybų pareigūnų. Papildomos lėšos bus veiksmingai panaudotos įgyvendinant naują pareigūnų reabilitacijos modelį.
Pareigūnai, turintys per pastaruosius dvejus metus VRM Medicinos centro išduotus ir galiojančius siuntimus, kitąmet galės pasinaudoti reabilitacijos paslaugomis.
„Ministerijos prioritetas – stipri vidaus tarnybos sistemos pareigūnų sveikata. Tobulindami pareigūnų reabilitacijos sistemą siekiame, kad kiekvienas šalies pareigūnas laiku gautų kokybiškas reabilitacijos paslaugas tam, kad galėtų sėkmingai tęsti darbą tarnyboje“, – teigia vidaus reikalų ministerijos kanclerė Jovita Petkuvienė.
Reabilitacijos paslaugos bus teikiamos VRM Medicinos centre, viešosiose įstaigose „Dainava“ ir „Pušynas“.
Nuo kitų metų sausio 1 d. VRM poilsio ir reabilitacijos centras „Pušynas“ bus prijungtas prie Respublikinės Klaipėdos ligoninės, o valstybės ir savivaldybių tarnautojų mokymo centras „Dainava“ – prie Lietuvos sveikatos mokslų universiteto ligoninės Kauno klinikų. Abiejų ligoninių steigėja yra Sveikatos apsaugos ministerija.
Vidaus reikalų ministerija dar 2021 m. atliko funkcijų peržiūrą ir nutarė atsisakyti savininko teisių ir pareigų penkiose įstaigose, taip pat ir viešosiose įstaigose „Pušynas“ ir „Dainava“.
Pakeitus šių įstaigų pavaldumą, jose 2024 m. ir toliau bus teikiamos reabilitacijos paslaugas pareigūnams pagal su VRM sudarytas sutartis.
