Šiandien Švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministerijoje į didžiausią Europoje profesinio meistriškumo konkursą „EuroSkills“ išlydėta Lietuvos delegacija, vyksianti į Gdanską, Lenkiją. Konkurso dalyvių – jaunųjų profesionalų – ir ekspertų komandą, kurią sudaro šalies profesinių mokyklų atstovai, pasveikino premjerė Ingrida Šimonytė ir švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministras Gintautas Jakštas.
„Kiekvienas yra genijus, vienintelis klausimas – ar esi savo stichijoje. Jeigu tu esi žuvis, o tavo gebėjimus vertina pagal tai, ar tu gali įlipti į medį, akivaizdu, kad tokiu atveju greičiausiai jausiesi neįvertintas, nevykęs, esantis ne savo vietoje ir ne tą darantis, – žymaus fiziko Alberto Einšteino mintimi sveikinimo žodį pradėjo I. Šimonytė. – Jeigu tave įmes į upę, vandenyną ar ežerą, tada veikiausiai parodysi tai, kas visus kitus gali nustebinti. Tad jei jūs savo kelyje jaučiatės kaip ta žuvis tame vandenyne, jūsų pasirinkimas yra puikus. Svarbiausia, kad jaustum, kad esi ten, kur nori būti.“
Ministras G. Jakštas pažymėjo, kad gausi Lietuvos dalyvių delegacija ir jos ryžtas rungtis su Europos geriausiaisiais rodo stiprų mūsų mokinių pasirengimą ir profesinį mokymą.
„Vykstate į ypatingą renginį, kuriame ne tik turėsite galimybę pademonstruoti savo įgūdžius, žinias, kūrybiškumą ir meistriškumą, bet ir pasilyginsite su kitų šalių geriausiaisiais, atstovausite visos Lietuvos profesiniam mokymui“, – dalyvius sveikino G. Jakštas.
Komandą sudaro 10 įvairių profesijų atstovai: staliai, floristai, siuvėjai, programuotojai, mechatronikai, suvirintojai, automobilių technologijų, grožio terapijos specialistai, kirpėjai, virėjai.
Jaunieji profesionalai atstovaus Kauno technologijų mokymo, Karaliaus Mindaugo profesinio mokymo, Klaipėdos technologijų mokymo, Visagino technologijos ir verslo profesinio mokymo, TECHIN, Vilniaus paslaugų verslo profesinio rengimo centrams, Kauno informacinių technologijų, Vilniaus automechanikos ir verslo, Klaipėdos turizmo mokykloms.
Kas 2 metus vykstančiame „EuroSkills“ konkurse šimtai jaunuolių iš 32 šalių susirenka varžytis dėl galimybės pademonstruoti savo praktinius įgūdžius ir tapti geriausiais savo profesijos atstovais Europoje.
„EuroSkills“ dalyviai atrenkami nacionalinėse varžybose. Tarptautiniame konkurse jie turi pademonstruoti profesinius gebėjimus tiek individualių, tiek komandinių užduočių metu. Joms įgyvendinti reikalingos sudėtingos techninės žinios ir gebėjimai, kurių jaunuoliai įgyja profesijos mokydamiesi mokymo įstaigoje arba darbo vietoje.
Lietuva „EuroSkills“ konkursuose dalyvauja nuo pat pirmojo konkurso, vykusio 2008 m. Roterdame, Nyderlanduose. 2010 m. Lisabonoje, Portugalijoje, lietuviai iškovojo sidabro medalį automechanikų rungtyje.
„EuroSkills“ konkursus organizuoja „WorldSkills Europe“ – dalis pasaulinio „WorldSkills“ judėjimo, skatinančio tobulinti profesinius įgūdžius. Organizacija, dirbama su jaunimu, pedagogais, vyriausybėmis ir pramonės atstovais, padeda paruošti šiandienos kvalifikuotą darbuotoją ir atsiskleisti talentams, reikalingiems sparčiai besikeičiančiam technologijų ir verslo pasauliui.
Europos Komisijos iniciatyva 2023 m. paskelbti Europos įgūdžių metais, kurie skirti suteikti naują postūmį mokymuisi visą gyvenimą.
