Kovo 13 dieną Švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministerijoje vyksta konferencija „STEAM ne tik „veža“: konstruok, modeliuok, programuok“. Per konferenciją Kauno, Panevėžio, Šiaulių rajonų mokyklų vadovai, pradinio ugdymo, fizikos, robotikos, neformaliojo švietimo mokytojai dalinasi gerąja STEAM ugdymo patirtimi: kaip, pasitelkiant STEAM, įtraukti į šią veiklą skirtingų ugdymosi poreikių turinčius mokinius.
Konferencijos akiratyje šios svarbios temos: mokytojų kompetencijų tobulinimas, kaip kurti ugdymosi aplinkas, planuoti dalyko turinį, ugdyti mokinių kritinio mąstymo ir problemų sprendimo gebėjimus, kaip paskatinti juos konstruoti ir modeliuoti. Taip pat pristatomi gerosios patirties pavyzdžiai, kaip įtraukti skirtingų ugdymosi poreikių turinčius mokinius į konstravimo, modeliavimo ir programavimo veiklas.
Konferenciją organizavo Švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministerija, Panevėžio „Šaltinio“ progimnazija, Kauno rajono švietimo centras, Kauno Akademijos mokykla-darželis „Gilė“.
