Rugsėjo 4-5 dienomis Kadise, Ispanijoje, vyko neformalus Europos Sąjungos užsienio reikalų ministrų susitikimas, skirtas aptarti vystomojo bendradarbiavimo klausimams – darnaus vystymosi darbotvarkės įgyvendinimą, paramą Ukrainai, padėtį Nigeryje ir daugiašalių vystymosi bankų reformą.
„Tebesitęsiant Rusijos karui prieš Ukrainą, turime užtikrinti nuoseklią ES paramą Ukrainos finansiniam stabilumui bei esminės infrastruktūros atstatymui. Taip pat numatyti pakankamą finansavimą techninės pagalbos srityje, padedant šaliai artėti prie narystės Europos Sąjungoje“, – pabrėžė susitikime Lietuvai atstovausi Rasa Kairienė, Užsienio reikalų ministerijos Vystomojo bendradarbiavimo departamento direktorė.
Vaizdo konferencijos su Jungtinių Tautų generalinio sekretoriaus pavaduotoja Amina J. Mohammed metu sutarta glaudžiau bendradarbiauti įgyvendinant Darnaus vystymosi tikslų darbotvarkę 2030. Taip pat vyko ministrų diskusijos socialinės, skaitmeninės, žaliosios transformacijos temomis. R. Kairienė atkreipė dėmesį, jog svarbu didinti šalių partnerių Afrikos žemyne galimybes apsirūpinti savo pagaminta žemės ūkio produkcija, įskaitant trąšas, ir tokiu būdu mažinti jų priklausomybę nuo išorės pagalbos.
Neformali ES užsienio reikalų taryba vystomojo bendradarbiavimo klausimais rengiama kas pusmetį Europos Sąjungai pirmininkaujančios šalies iniciatyva. Susitikimų metu ieškoma bendrų sprendimų dėl naujai kylančių krizių, aptariami pirmininkaujančios šalies iškelti prioritetai ir pasiūlymai.
