Pasibaigus Paryžiaus olimpinėms žaidynėms, atslūgus jauduliui ir euforijai, dar kartą sveikinu Lietuvos sportininkus, mūsų olimpinę rinktinę, gynusią bei garsinusią Lietuvos vardą.
Olimpiada yra nuostabus dalykas ir didžiulė šventė milijonams – nuostabu yra žmogaus siekiai ir svajonės, lygiai taip pat gražu žmogaus nuoseklus darbas. Ir kai tai matai ir supranti, negali likti abejingas sportininkų pasirodymams, jų pastangoms. Todėl kiekvienas olimpiadoje startavęs sportininkas suteikė ne tik daug džiaugsmo, bet ir minčių apmąstymams apie žmogaus galimybes. Gera buvo stebėti jūsų kovas ekranuose, gera buvo sutikti Paryžiuje ir Lietuvoje. Visą olimpiados laiką drauge džiaugiausi kiekvieno sėkmėmis, galvojau, kaip jautėsi, jei ne viskas pavyko, kaip planuota.
Ypatingai sveikinu pirmąjį bronzos medalį Lietuvai iškovojusią irkluotoją Viktoriją Senkutę, puikų pasirodymą padovanojusį bei sidabro medalį iškovojusį disko metiką Mykolą Alekną, Lietuvos vyrų trijulių krepšinio rinktinę, pasidabinusią bronzos medaliais, bei jauniausią Lietuvos atstovę, tačiau savo įspūdingu pasirodymu abejingų nepalikusią olimpinę vicečempionę Dominiką Banevič–Bgirl Nicką! Taip pat didžiausios padėkos ir sveikinimai sportininkų treneriams!
Iškovoti 4 medaliai, o prizininkais tapo net 21 rinktinės sportininkas (arba 41 proc.) iš 51 dalyvavusio: olimpinėse žaidynėse prizinėmis laikomos 1–8 vietos. Mūsų nedidelė žmonių skaičiumi šalis yra net 18 vietoje pasaulyje pagal medalių ir gyventojų skaičiaus santykį.
Svarbu, kad net 31 Lietuvai atstovavusiam sportininkui Paryžiaus žaidynės buvo pirmoji olimpiada. Visi mūsų medalininkai – irgi olimpinių žaidynių debiutantai. Tikiu, kad ateityje jų laukia dar daug pergalių.
Lietuvos sportininkų rezultatai džiugina – ne tik laimėjimai olimpinėse žaidynėse, bet ir įvairiuose Europos, pasaulio čempionatuose. Tai lemia sportininkų ir trenerių profesionalumas ir atsidavimas savo pašaukimui.
Didžiulis nacionalinių sporto šakų federacijų indėlis rengiant sportininkus. Federacijų profesionalumo dėka galime džiaugtis sportininkų pasiekimais tarptautinėse arenose. Valstybė kasmet finansuoja per 60 federacijų. Palyginus su tarptautine praktika šis skaičius yra labai didelis, dvigubai didesnis nei kitose Europos šalyse.
Nuo 2019 metų valstybės finansavimas bendrai sportui išaugo nuo 42 iki 73 milijonų eurų. Aukšto meistriškumo sportas finansuotas net 2,5 karto daugiau, o sporto šakų federacijų ir negalią turinčių asmenų vadovaujančioms sporto organizacijoms kasmetinėms aukšto meistriškumo sporto programoms įgyvendinti 2019-2024 metais skirta trigubai daugiau lėšų – nuo beveik 7 mln. 2019 m. iki 20 mln. eurų šiemet.
Lyderiaujančių olimpinių sporto šakų, kurioms dalyvauti varžybose reikalingas sportinis inventorius, federacijos dar papildomai gavo lėšų inventoriui įsigyti, rengiantis būtent Paryžiaus olimpiadai.
Stengiamės sudaryti geras sąlygas sportininkams siekti rezultatų, skatiname tai.
Už pirmą vietą olimpinėse žaidynėse skiriama 167,7 tūkst. eurų valstybės premija, antrąją – beveik 84 tūkst. eurų, trečiąją – beveik 63 tūkst. eurų. Valstybė skiria premijas visiems 1-8 vietų laimėtojams. Iš viso 21 Lietuvos rinktinės sportininkas, atstovavęs mūsų šaliai Paryžiaus olimpinėse žaidynėse, gaus valstybinę premiją. Treneriams taip pat skiriama premija, ji siekia pusę sportininkui teikiamos premijos dydžio. 1-3 vietų prizininkai gauna ir valstybines rentas.
Skatiname ne tik premijomis už jau iškovotus medalius, bet ir mokėdami valstybės stipendijas olimpinių sporto šakų sportininkams.
Nuo 2022-ųjų liepos 1d. gaunančių stipendijas skaičius išaugo 50 proc. Praplėstas ratas, kad stipendiją gautų ne vien pirmųjų vietų tarptautinių rungtynių laimėtojai – valstybė mato potencialą ir prisideda prie paskatinimo.
Iki pokyčių prieš kelis metus stipendija buvo nuo 138 iki 1242 eurų, dabar – nuo 825 iki 3135 eurų.
Dabar stipendijas gali gauti ne tik prizininkai, bet ir sportininkai, iškovoję olimpinių žaidynių 17–24 vietas, Europos čempionatų ar Europos žaidynių 7–8 vietas, parolimpinių ar kurčiųjų žaidynių 7–8 vietas, pasaulio asmenų su negalia čempionatų 4–6 vietas, taip pat pasaulio jaunimo čempionatų, jaunimo olimpinių žaidynių ir Europos jaunimo čempionatų 4–6 vietas, pasaulio ir Europos jaunimo asmenų su negalia čempionatų 2, 3 vietas.
Taip pat ši Vyriausybė priėmė sprendimą, kad valstybės lėšomis būtų sumokami mokesčiai sportininkų socialinėms garantijoms, kad būtų apdrausti sveikatos, ligos, pensijų, motinystės socialiniais draudimais.
Dar viena papildoma paskata jauniems sportininkams: aukštus rezultatus pasiekę sportininkai, studijuojantys valstybės nefinansuojamose vietose Lietuvos aukštosiose mokyklose, nuo šių mokslo metų bus atleidžiami nuo paskolų studijoms grąžinimo. Tikimės, kad ši priemonė bus svarbus žingsnis skatinant sportininkus dar nebaigus sportinės karjeros siekti išsilavinimo ir užsitikrinti dvikryptę karjerą.
Stabilus finansavimas, garantijų užtikrinimas ir nuosekli sporto politika yra tai, ko labiausiai reikia mūsų sporto bendruomenei. Ir ramaus, sutelkto darbo.
Ir dar ačiū sportininkams už tai, kad mažieji vaikeliai šias savaites iš mūsų namie reikalavo žaisti varžybas: nuo „tinklinio“, „ieties metimo“ iki sprinto rungčių – puikus būdas papildomai sudominti fiziniu aktyvumu.
