Sporto šakų federacijų ir organizacijų atstovai su ministerijos atstovais aptarė sporto bendruomenės siūlymus dėl aukšto meistriškumo sporto programų finansavimo valstybės lėšomis tvarkos tobulinimo.
Prieš dvi savaites Švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministerijoje sporto bendruomenei buvo pristatyti darbo grupės parengti siūlymai, kokius kriterijus finansavimo tvarkoje derėtų keisti ar įtraukti naujus, siekiant užtikrinti subalansuotą aukšto meistriškumo sporto finansavimo valstybės lėšomis sistemą.
Siūlymus rengė iš sportininkų, trenerių organizacijų, sporto federacijų, asmenų su negalia sporto organizacijų, savivaldos atstovų suburta darbo grupė. Atnaujinant, papildant vertinimo kriterijus, pagal kuriuos sporto organizacijoms skiriamas valstybės finansavimas, remtasi užsienio patirtimi, gerojo valdymo principais, Sporto plėtros programoje užsibrėžtais ilgalaikiais tikslais.
Per dvi savaites visa sporto bendruomenė galėjo teikti daugiau siūlymų, argumentuoti juos, išsakyti savo nuomonę, kritiką apie pateiktuosius, įsivertinti galimą naudą, pasisakyti dėl pakeitimų ir naujų kriterijų įsigaliojimo pradžios, kad pačios spėtų pasirengti juos atliepti. Savo pasiūlymus ministerijai atsiuntė daugiau nei dešimtis sporto federacijų ir jų skėtinių organizacijų. Jų pasiūlymai susiję tiek su sportininkų pasiektų rezultatų, tiek su pačių sporto organizacijų veiklos vertinimų kriterijais.
Atsižvelgus į gautas ir susitikime išsakytas pastabas, susisteminus jas, bus parengtas aukšto meistriškumo sporto programų finansavimo sąlygų aprašo projektas. Jis bus dar sykį išsiųstas peržiūrėti sporto federacijoms ir, tik gavus atsiliepimus, bus priimami sprendimai dėl atnaujintos aukšto meistriškumo sporto finansavimo tvarkos.
