Vidaus reikalų ministerijoje paminėta artėjanti Lietuvos Nepriklausomybės atkūrimo diena – Kovo 11-oji.
“Laisvi ir drąsūs žmonės prieš daugiau kaip tris dešimtmečius pakeitė Lietuvos istoriją. Pagarba jiems ir visiems, kurie šiandien tęsia anuomet pasirinktą Vakarų demokratijos, laisvos ir išdidžios valstybės kelią. Pasiryžimas ginti savo tėvynę parklupdo nuožmiausią priešą – brolių ukrainiečių kova mums kasdien tai primena. Kai stojame už Lietuvą išvien – mes nenugalimi“, – sakė vidaus reikalų ministrė Agnė Bilotaitė.
Ypatingos dienos proga vidaus reikalų ministrė Agnė Bilotaitė apdovanojo nusipelniusius ir valstybę stiprinančius Vidaus reikalų ministerijos ir jai pavaldžių įstaigų darbuotojus bei statutinių tarnybų pareigūnus.
Atskiros ir ypatingos padėkos sulaukė Lietuvos tarptautinės pagalbos teikimo komandos nariai, kurie atliko gelbėjimo darbus Turkijoje po tragiško žemės drebėjimo.
Renginio metu tylos minute pagerbti už savo ir mūsų laisvę žuvę ir vis dar žūstantys Ukrainos broliai ir seserys.
