Nuotr. BNS Švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministerija siūlo nuo 2025 m. neberengti rusų – antrosios užsienio kalbos – valstybinio brandos egzamino. Valstybiniai brandos egzaminai būtų organizuojami tiktai iš pirmųjų užsienio kalbų: anglų, vokiečių, prancūzų. Tai numatyta Pradinio, pagrindinio ir vidurinio ugdymo programų aprašo projekte.
„Nuo kitų mokslo metų mokyklos pradės dirbti pagal atnaujintas programas. Siekiame, kad Lietuvos vaikai išmoktų daugiau užsienio kalbų, todėl atnaujintose bendrojo ugdymo programose išplėstas antrų užsienio kalbų sąrašas, iš kurio galima rinktis. Taip pat atsiranda galimybė mokyklos bendruomenei apsispręsti antrai užsienio kalbai skirti daugiau valandų.
Šiuo metu mokiniai gali laikyti pirmos užsienio kalbos brandos egzaminą. Antros užsienio kalbos egzaminai nebuvo rengiami, išskyrus rusų kalbos. Manome, kad neturėtų būti sudarytos išskirtinės sąlygos vienai antrajai užsienio kalbai. Todėl siūlome neorganizuoti rusų užsienio kalbos egzamino. Be to, rusiškai kalbančios šalys nėra prioritetas studijų ar profesinėje srityje, kad reikėtų šią kalbą išskirti iš kitų antrųjų užsienio kalbų. Labai svarbu užtikrinti, kad mokiniai išmoktų ES kalbą – anglų, vokiečių, prancūzų – ne žemesniu kaip B2 lygiu. Tai būtina tolesnėms studijoms: jauni žmonės turi pasirengti skaityti profesinę literatūrą užsienio kalba, dalyvauti tarptautinėse stažuotėse, projektuose ir pan.”, – sako švietimo, mokslo ir sporto viceministras Ramūnas Skaudžius.
Kaip ir iki šiol, išliks gimtųjų tautinių mažumų kalbų (baltarusių, lenkų, rusų, vokiečių) egzaminai tautinių mažumų mokyklų abiturientams. Nuo 2023–2024 mokslo metų lenkų gimtosios kalbos egzaminas taps valstybiniu, nuo 2024–2025 mokslo metų ir likusieji gimtųjų tautinių mažumų kalbų egzaminai taip pat bus tik valstybiniai.
Nuo kitų mokslo metų stiprinamas antrosios užsienio kalbos (anglų, prancūzų, vokiečių, rusų, ukrainiečių, lenkų ir ispanų) mokymas III-IV gimnazijos klasėse. Taip pat pradedant mokyti naują užsienio kalbą 6 kl., siūloma intensyvinti jos mokymą, kad mokiniai pajustų kalbos mokymosi džiaugsmą ir pastebėtų savo pažangą, tam skirdami daugiau mokymosi laiko. Mokyklos galės laisviau skirstyti užsienio kalboms skirtas 5 savaitines valandas, pavyzdžiui, 6 klasėje ką tik pradėtai mokytis antrai užsienio kalbai numatyti 3 val., o jau pramoktai pirmajai, kuri dažniausiai yra anglų, 2 val. Iki šiol mokyklos tokios galimybės neturėjo, valandų skaičius buvo griežtai apibrėžtas: 6-10 klasėse pirmajai kalbai – 3 val., antrajai – 2 val. per savaitę.
Pirmosios užsienio kalbos šalies mokyklose pradedama mokytis pradinėse klasėse (8–9 metų), o antrosios kalbos – 6-oje klasėje ir ji yra privaloma iki 10, arba II gimnazijos klasės. III–IV gimnazijos klasėje būtina mokytis bent vienos užsienio kalbos.
