Sausio 12 dieną Lietuvos ambasadoje Prancūzijoje pristatyta Jūratės Daukšytės-Morlet tapybos paroda „Amalgame“. Laisvės gynėjų dienos išvakarėse vykusiame renginyje taip pat buvo prisiminti Sausio 13-osios įvykiai.
Į ambasadą atvykusius svečius pasitiko žvakėmis nuklotas takas ir prancūzų fotografo Pascalio Le Segretaino nuotraukos, skirtos 1991 m. Lietuvos laisvės gynėjams atminti.
Pirmąjį šių metų renginį atidaręs Lietuvos ambasadorius Prancūzijoje Nerijus Aleksiejūnas džiaugėsi, kad 2024-ieji prasideda Prancūzijos lietuvių menininkės darbų paroda.
„Simboliška 2024-uosius metus pradėti ryškia ir spalvinga paroda, kuri pritraukė tiek daug lankytojų. Tai labai gera įžanga į Lietuvos Sezono Prancūzijoje metus“, – teigė ambasadorius.
Parodos atidarymo metu muzikines improvizacijas pagal tris temas atliko Didier Rotella (fortepijonas), Eugénie Le Faure (smuikas) ir Koji Yamamoto (saksofonas). Susirinkusiai publikai Jūratė Daukšytė atskleidė savo kūrybos konceptus, eigą ir dalijosi poetinėmis inspiracijomis. Menininkės kūrybinį kelią pristatė renginį moderavęs buvęs Lietuvių bendruomenės Prancūzijoje pirmininkas Linas Maknavičius.
Parodoje „Amalgame“ pristatoma 16 Jūratės Daukšytės-Morlet paveikslų – mišria technika atliktų darbų iš įvairių autorės kūrybos periodų. Menininkės kūriniai tarsi priešingų asociacijų junginiai, kurie sujungia nevienalyčius elementus, sumaišo ir sukuria darnią visatą.
Jūratė Daukšytė yra surengusi kelias individualias ir dalyvauja kolektyvinėse parodose Paryžiuje, Vilniuje. 2023 m. šiuolaikinio meno festivaliui „Aritmija“ Merkinėje ji sukūrė instaliaciją „I sing the body electric“, kurioje žiūrovus įtraukė į savo poetinį fluorescencinį žmogaus riboženklių ir miško pasaulį. J. Daukšytė yra baigusi Vilniaus Dailės akademijos Taikomosios dailės magistrą. 2003 m. menininkei įteiktas žiuri meistriškumo prizas geriausio šiuolaikinio dizaino gobeleno konkurse Vilniuje.
