Vidaus reikalų ministrė Agnė Bilotaitė susitiko su Vokietijos Federacinės Respublikos Meklenburgo-Pomeranijos žemės delegacija. Susitikimo metu aptartas bendradarbiavimas su Meklenburgo – Pomeranijos policijos mokyklomis, parama Ukrainai ir Baltarusijos hibridinė ataka prieš Lietuvą.
Anot vidaus reikalų ministrės A. Bilotaitės, bendradarbiavimas su Vokietijos policijos mokyklomis leidžia Lietuvos pareigūnams mokytis iš kvalifikuotų partnerių.
„Ištikus krizėms valstybėje kaip niekad anksčiau matome, kad būsimi pareigūnai privalo semtis patirties iš užsienio policijos mokyklų. Tai galimybė užmegzti ryšius su būsimomis kolegomis, o mainų dėka galime toliau stiprinti mūsų mokymo įstaigas“, – susitikime teigė vidaus reikalų ministrė Agnė Bilotaitė.
Pasak vidaus reikalų ministrės A. Bilotaitės, Meklenburgo-Pomeranijos žemės ir Lietuvos policijos mokyklos turėtų pasitelkti nuotolinio mokymosi galimybes ir pasinaudoti ES finansavimo instrumentais kaip „Erasmus+“, kad daugiau būsimų pareigūnų sudalyvautų mainų programose.
Vidaus reikalų ministrės A. Bilotaitės teigimu, viešojo saugumo stiprinimas ir profesionaliai parengtų pareigūnų skaičiaus didinimas yra šios ministerijos prioritetas.
Šiuo metu į pareigūnų rengimui skirtas studijų programas siekiama pritraukti kuo daugiau motyvuotų jaunų žmonių, rūpinamasi finansavimo didinimu. Aukštos kvalifikacijos specialistų trūkumą policijoje ir Valstybės sienos apsaugos tarnyboje padės spręsti valstybės finansuojamos 125-ios vietos Mykolo Romerio universiteto studijų programose.
