Europos Sąjungai sugriežtinus elektroninio parašo kūrimo įtaisams keliamus saugumo reikalavimus, nuo šių metų liepos 23 d. senesnės nei iki 2024 m. sausio 1 d. išduotos asmens tapatybės kortelės nebegalės būti naudojamos kvalifikuoto elektroninio parašo kūrimui.
„Raginame gyventojus, naudojančius asmens tapatybės kortelę elektroninio parašo kūrimui, suskubti ją pasikeisti. Jei kortelė parašo kūrimui nenaudojama – jos keisti nereikia“, – pabrėžė vidaus reikalų viceministrė Agneta Ladek.
Iki 2024 m. sausio 1 d. išduotos asmens tapatybės kortelės ir toliau bus tinkamos naudoti kaip elektroninės atpažinties priemonė, pavyzdžiui, tvirtinant asmens tapatybę Elektroninių valdžios vartų portale.
Nuo 2022 m. rugsėjo 2 d. iki 2023 metų gruodžio 31 d. išduotos asmens tapatybės kortelės, kurios buvo naudojamos kaip elektroninio parašo priemonės, gyventojams iki šių metų pabaigos bus keičiamos nemokamai. Pasikeisti kortelę galima bet kuriame Migracijos departamento teritoriniame padalinyje.
Asmens dokumentų išrašymo centro duomenimis, asmenų, turinčių galiojančias iki 2024 m. sausio 1 d. išduotas asmens tapatybės korteles ir naudojančių jas elektroninio parašo kūrimui, yra apie 20 000. Tai sudaro maždaug 0,9 proc. visų galiojančių asmens tapatybės kortelių.
