„Visuomenei susiduriant su senėjimo iššūkiais ypač svarbi slaugytojo misija ir darbas. Slaugytojams suteikiama vis daugiau teisių ir savarankiškumo, optimizuojami darbo krūviai, tobulinama atlygio sistema. Džiugu, jog tai mato ir jaunoji karta. Šiais mokslo metais norinčiųjų studijuoti valstybės finansuojamose (VF) slaugos studijose panoro daugiau nei numatyta finansuojamų vietų. Sutarus su Švietimo, mokslo ir sporto ministerija, slaugos studijos buvo išskirtos kaip prioritetinės – atsižvelgus į stojančiųjų skaičių, VF vietų skaičius buvo maksimaliai padidintas, t.y. sudaryta finansinė galimybė studijuoti visiems pageidaujantiems“, – sako sveikatos apsaugos viceministrė Danguolė Jankauskienė.

Ministerija atliko gydymo įstaigų apklausą ir sudarė įstaigų sąrašą, kurios siekiant pritraukti būsimus specialistus planuoja apmokėti studijų kainą ir taikyti kitas skatinamąsias priemones. Slaugytojo kompetencija leidžia ne tik taikyti slaugos procedūras ir priemones, bet ir vertinti paciento sveikatos būklę, konsultuoti, teikti rekomendacijas sveikatos išsaugojimo klausimais, vykdyti lėtinėmis ligomis sergančių pacientų sveikatos būklės stebėseną, paskirti laboratorinius tyrimus ir vertinti jų rezultatus, atlikti vaikų ir suaugusiųjų profilaktinius patikrinimus, imunoprofilaktiką, naujagimių priežiūrą, teikti kitas asmens sveikatos priežiūros paslaugas. Todėl nuo 2024 m. sausio 1 d. nuspręsta įteisinti savarankiškas slaugytojo konsultacijas. Dirbdamas šeimos gydytojo komandoje, slaugytojas ir iki šiol atlikdavo daug panašių funkcijų, tačiau jos nebuvo vertinamos kaip savarankiška slaugytojo veikla, o kaip šeimos gydytojo konsultacijos dalis.

Slaugytojų profesinės kvalifikacijos tobulinimas
Sveikatos priežiūros specialistų, įskaitant slaugos specialistus, profesinės kvalifikacijos tobulinimui numatytas 27,55 mln. Eur finansavimas iš 2021–2027 m. Optimizuoti slaugytojų darbo krūviai
Šiuo metu peržiūrimi ir jau pakeisti slaugos paslaugas reglamentuojantys teisės aktai. Juose nustatomi konkretūs galimi darbo krūviai slaugos specialistams – tai leis išvengti iki šiol slaugytojų darbą lydėjusių pernelyg didelių krūvių. Pavyzdžiui, palaikomojo gydymo ir slaugos paslaugų teikimo tvarka numato, kad vienas bendrosios praktikos arba išplėstinės praktikos slaugytojas dienos metu paslaugą teikia ne daugiau kaip 20 pacientų, nakties metu – ne daugiau kaip 30 pacientų. Šiuo metu praktikoje pasitaiko ir po 60 pacientų vienam slaugytojui.
Nuo 2012 m. galioja ir rekomenduojami darbo krūviai aktyvaus gydymo ligoninėse, ko prašome laikytis visose gydymo įstaigose.

Kiekvienų metų pavasarį ir rudenį SAM, gydymo įstaigų ir medikų bendruomenės atstovai susirenka diskusijai dėl Lietuvos nacionalinės sveikatos sistemos šakos kolektyvinės sutarties atnaujinimo, taip pat tariamasi ir dėl atlyginimų didinimo.
