Ikimokyklines ugdymo įstaigas lankantys vaikai bei pradinių klasių mokiniai ir toliau gaus ekologiškų arba pagal nacionalinę žemės ūkio ir maisto kokybės sistemą išaugintų (pagamintų) produktų. Žemės ūkio ministras Kęstutis Navickas patvirtino Vaisių ir daržovių bei pieno ir pieno produktų vartojimo skatinimo vaikų ugdymo įstaigose programos 2023–2029 mokslo metų strategiją. Šiai programai įgyvendinti kasmet bus skiriama beveik puspenkto milijono eurų.
Vaisių ir daržovių vartojimui skatinti iš Europos žemės ūkio garantijų fondo (EŽŪGF) kasmet numatyta skirti 891 870 Eur ir 1 mln. Eur iš Lietuvos valstybės biudžeto.
Pieno ir jo produktų vartojimui skatinti kasmet bus skiriama po 1 236 781 Eur iš EŽŪGF ir 1 mln. 274 tūkst. Eur iš Lietuvos valstybės biudžeto.
Vaikai, lankantys ikimokyklines ugdymo įstaigas, ir pradinių klasių mokiniai pagal šią programą gauna ekologiškų arba pagal nacionalinę žemės ūkio ir maisto kokybės sistemą išaugintų (pagamintų) produktų: obuolių, morkų, kriaušių, obuolių sulčių ir pieno bei jo gaminių (jogurto, šviežio ir brandinto sūrio).
Programa siekiama ne tik padidinti suvartojamų vaisių ir daržovių bei pieno ir jo gaminių dalį vaikų mityboje, bet ir diegti jiems supratimą apie teigiamą šių produktų vartojimo poveikį sveikatai, supažindinti su tvariu žemės ūkiu bei skatinti tausiai naudoti maistą. Programos priemonės apima vaisių, daržovių bei pieno gaminių tiekimą vaikams ir edukacinių bei informacinių veiklų įgyvendinimą.
Žemės ūkio ministerijos užsakymu atliktas tyrimas atskleidė, kad daugiau kaip 80 proc. pradinukų vaisius ir daržoves valgė kasdien bent kelis kartus per dieną. Pieną ir pieno produktus bent 1 kartą per dieną vartojo beveik 76 proc. 1–4 klasės mokinių, o 33,8 proc. juos vartojo 2 kartus ar daugiau.
Švietimo priemonės vykdytos daugiau nei 1440 ugdymo įstaigų, jose dalyvavo apie 230 tūkstančių vaikų. Šios priemonės padėjo vaikams suprasti, kas yra sveikatai palanki mityba, kodėl reikėtų vengti produktų su daug pridėtinio cukraus, druskų ir riebalų. Anketinės apklausos rezultatai parodė, kad apie 47 proc. mokinių užkandžiams dažniausiai renkasi vaisius ar daržoves, 44 proc. mokinių išreiškė norą valgyti daugiau vaisių, 33 proc. – daržovių ir 27 proc. – pieno ar jo produktų.
Vaisių ir daržovių bei pieno ir pieno produktų vartojimo skatinimo vaikų ugdymo įstaigose programa startavo 2017 m. rugsėjo 1 d. Ji apjungė ir tęsia pradėtą Vaisių vartojimo skatinimo ugdymo įstaigose programos ir Pieno vartojimo skatinimo vaikų ugdymo įstaigose programos (programa „Pienas vaikams“) veiklą.
Įsakymas „Dėl vaisių ir daržovių bei pieno ir pieno produktų vartojimo skatinimo vaikų ugdymo įstaigose programos 2023–2029 mokslo metų strategijos patvirtinimo“ yra čia.
