„Rusija turi liautis šantažavusi pasaulinę bendruomenę ir sudaryti sąlygas išnaudoti visas Juodosios jūros grūdų iniciatyvos galimybes siekiant sušvelninti Rusijos karo prieš Ukrainą daromą neigiamą poveikį pasaulinei maisto rinkai“, – teigė Lietuvos nuolatinis atstovas JT.
Baltijos valstybių vardu perskaitytame pareiškime pasmerkti Rusijos karo nusikaltimai prieš Ukrainą, akcentuojant sistemines Rusijos atakas prieš civilius gyventojus ir Rusijos sugriautos Kachovkos užtvankos padarytą humanitarinę, ekonominę ir ekologinę žalą.
Pasisakyme pabrėžta tęstinė Baltijos valstybių parama Ukrainai, teikiant oficialią pagalbą ir paramą. Vien kovai su Kachovkos užtvankos sugriovimo pasekmėmis Baltijos valstybės jau skyrė 1.5 milijono eurų. Tarptautinė bendruomenė paraginta ir toliau telkti visas pastangas, siekiant padėti Ukrainai laimėti Rusijos pradėtą karą ir užtikrinti reikalingą finansavimą humanitarinei pagalbai teikti.
