Liepos 28 dieną užsienio reikalų ministras Gabrielius Landsbergis atsisveikino su ambasadoriaus kadenciją baigiančiu Latvijos Respublikos ambasadoriumi Lietuvai Induliu Berziniu (Indulis Bērziņš).
Susitikime įvertinta Lietuvos ir Latvijos dvišalio bendradarbiavimo raida, regiono saugumo klausimai, NATO viršūnių susitikimo Vilniuje rezultatai. Latvijos ambasadorius pažymėjo puikius santykius tarp abejų šalių ir padėkojo Užsienio reikalų ministerijai bei kitoms institucijoms už aktyvų dalyvavimą kuriant ir plėtojant dvišalį bendradarbiavimą.
Ministras G. Landsbergis išreiškė įsitikinimą, kad efektyvus Lietuvos ir Latvijos bendradarbiavimas bus tęsiamas ir ateityje.
Latvijos ambasadorius Indulis Berzinis savo darbą Lietuvoje pradėjo 2019 metais.
